Kabanata 93: Search and Rescue

Detective's POV

Alba ordered the search and rescue team to find Zach and others. But they got nothing not even traces. Kaya pinaulit uli niya.

"Still nothing?" I asked. She shooks her head and sighed. "This is a really stressful one detective..." tinignan ko siya at umiling.

"Tawag mo parin sakin detective?" Tanong ko sakanya. Ngumiti siya.

"Well ikaw parin naman ang head namin dito, and you've been through a lot with this operation" she said. She fist bumped my shoulder and walks off.

Lumabaa na rin ako to get some air. Pano ko mahahanap sila Zach? Lumapit saakin ang nanay niya, at hinila ako sa tabi. "Excuse me ma'am?" I asked.

"Still can't find them?" She asked. This is bad...I still can't find his son or the others.
Umiling ako, walang point ang pagsisinungaling. She sighed.

"I don't wanna do this but...I know a way to find them" ani niya. But how? Kami nga nahihirapan hanapin sila.

"How?" I asked. Sinenyasan niya ako na manahimik muna. "Before I tell you, you can't tell anyone about this" that is hard.

"Why?" I asked. "Because what I'm going to tell you will sound bizarre you won't even bother to listen" sagot niya.

"Sabihin mo saakin, you don't even know what I encountered when I'm working here in this hell school" sabi ko sakanya.

"So please do tell me" pagmamakaawa ko sakanya. "Okay. But first we need to go to a room before anyone eavesdrop on us"

I agreed. Pumasok kami sa music room. Naupo siya sa isang tabi. Umupo naman ako sa harapan ng piano.

"Okay now go" Sabi ko. "I know how to get to the old headquarters of Blood Moon" i bit my tongue. She can't be serious. Tsaka papaano niya naman malalaman kung saan yun? Wait what if she's a member?!

Walang pagalinlangan hinablot ko ang baril ko at itinutok sakanya. "What member ka din nila?!" Pagsisigaw ko. Nagulat siya sa inakto ko.

"Calm down detective! I'm not a member! I'm harmless" she gestured to put the gun down. "Put the gun down and let me explain"

Hindi ko parin ito binababa dahil mahirap na magtiwala ngayon. "Put the gun down!" Bumalik ako sa pagiisip, at ihihulog ko ang baril.

"S-sorry I just can't take it" sabi ko sakanya. She's breathing heavily.

"O-okay" she said. "We're all good now"

"Alam ko na hindi ka na nagtitiwala basta basta sa mga tao sa paligid mo"

"But I'm sincere here, I'm doing this to find my son!" She said. Right nanay nga siya ni Zach. What's gotten into me?!

"Alam ko kung saan yung headquarters ng Blood Moon kasi...me and Will had something special back then" now that is...unexpected.

"Zach and Grey are my sons" she continued. Oh shit. Tinakpan ko ang bibig sa pagkagulat. "Surprising huh?" Actually alam ko na magkapatid sila ni Zach I'm just surprised na buhay pa pala ang dating asawa ni prof Will. This is unbelievable.

"Wait...what about Mr. Remundo? Wala kayong anak?" I asked out of curiosity.

"We never had one on our own, I do have a step son si Alex" ani niya. Siya yung laging binabanggit ni Zach.

"Never ko pa naharap si Zach tungkol sa totoong tatay niya" pagpapaliwanag niya.

"I know he will throw a tantrum if I did tell him" she chuckled. Yep that's Zach.
