Kabanata 94: Plan A

Grey's POV

I feel like I'm gonna die. My head is ringing like crazy. What am I doing? I just remembered that I just passed out.

At kanina nawala si Christine sa tabi ko. I'm fucked up. Unti unti kong binangon ang sarili ko. "W-Where the fuck am I?" I asked myself. Nasa damuhan ako nakahilata. There's no trees around me.

Ang pagkakatanda ko malapit na kami sa old headquarters. So I decided to run again. Baka naligaw lang ako.

"Where are you off to?" May nagtanong sa gilid ko. Napatigil ako sa pagtakbo, his voice is familiar. Nilingon ko ito. It's just some bastard called 'dad'.

"Kinuha mo si Christine! Kaya ka ba andito?" Tanong ko sakanya. "No need to be aggressive..." sabi niya naman saakin.

"She's in a safe place now" what does he mean? Is she dead?!

"You killed her?!" Sigaw ko. He shooks his head. "Just away from you" sagot naman niya.

"Why? Why are you doing this?" Tanong ko sakanya. "Nilalayo kita dun sa babaeng yun kasi she's—" I cut him off.

"What she's a threat? Cut off with that bullshit already" sabi ko. "You can't control me anymore!"

"I've decided to become a normal person I don't wanna to kill anyone!" Sabi ko.

He sighed and approached me slowly. "The truth is I'm going to replace you" Sabi niya saakin. Straight to the point. "Then good! Tapos na rin naman akong maging anak mo."

"Also I'm done leading the group" I added. Tinalikuran ko na siya. "Just give me back Christine then we're done here."

"Sorry but I can't do that" ani niya. Hinarap ko ulit siya. "At bakit?"

"Hindi ikaw ang masusunod Grey...hindi ka na yung leader remember?" He said na parang inaasar pa ako. Oh I wanna kill this man right here right now.

"Don't try me." I threaten him. "Ano papatayin mo ko? You don't even have your powers back." Sabi niya saakin. Dammit. He's right.

"Then I'll knock you dead." Ang tangi ko nalang nasabi. But he disappeared in an instant. What the fuck. "We're not done talking yet!"

Biglang may isang malaking butas ang sumulpot sa harap ko. Sobrang liwanag nito hindi ako makatingin. May lumabas sa liwanag. Si Zach...

"Surprise...surprise..." asar niya saakin. Bakit magisa lang siya? I need to run as fast as I could. I need to be near Christine. I bolted. "S-saan ka pupunta?!" Sumunod naman siya saakin.

Fuck this! Fuck! Don't tell me siya yung irereplace ng tatay ko?! Wait they joined forces?! This is betrayal! At pumayag naman si Zach?

"Sergei!" Sigaw nito. Someone fell unto me, he locked me in his arms. "Let go of me!" Sigaw ko.

Hingal na lumapit si Zach. "H-hirap mo h-habulin!"

Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin. "Tch." I can't fight back! Wala akong masyadong lakas.

"Just let me go! Ayaw ko ng gulo" I said. Zach chuckled. "Then give her back..." he said in a dark tone. Napansin ko na may umaalab sa kamay niya. And then a flaming blade appeared to his hands.

Kumawala ako sa bisig ni Sergei. My instincts say so. I guess my strength is still with me. "Grey!" Sigaw ni Zach.

Binilisan ko na ang takbo ko, hindi nila ako mahahabol with this pace. I noticed that I'm already at the old headquarters. "Ha!"

Pumasok na kaagad ako, at hinarangan ang pintuan ng mga gamit na malapit saakin. "This will do it." I said. I still have to find Christine. I face palmed.
