My phone dings with a notification. I turn to look at my phone, sneakily so my boss doesn't see me. I see it's a text from Josh. Another picture. I open it.

Space Boy 👽: Jim misses you. Please come visit 😞.
I grin, quickly typing a response back.
Me: Believe me, I miss him too. But you know I can't visit yet. Work.
I put my phone away, grinning a little. Not even a minute later, he responds. I take my phone out again, staring at the response.
Space Boy 👽: Book it off. Or quit, and come work for our tour team so you can stay with me while I'm on tour.
Space Boy 👽: Please, baby. I miss seeing you while your gone.
Me: Well, to me it's like your gone, so who's fault is this??
I tease, giggling slightly. I see a coworker looking at me out of the corner of their eye. I quickly thrown my phone down, focussing on my computer. I get up when they look away, taking my phone with me. He texts on my way.
Space Boy 👽: Don't you dare blame this on me, (Y/N). Please, just ask for it off. There are plenty of other people in your department to cover.
I sigh, not answering.

Space Boy 👽: Went for a run with my brother today. He demanded we send you a picture. Also says Hi!
Me: Tell Jordan that I say hi as well. How was the run??
Space Boy 👽: Pretty good. I haven't been running with Jordan in a while tho. He talks wayyyy too much while running. I don't understand how he does it.
I snort a little at his words.
Me: So is he visiting for a while then??
Space Boy 👽: Yeah. For a few weeks before we go on tour again during the fall. You are visiting soon, right?
