Chapter 68 JAX'S BIRTHDAY

    IT'S getting late, pero hindi parin nadating sina Jax. I wonder what they are doing now.

   Everyone is enjoying the party, I need to go inside. It's too noisy, I need to relax my tympanic cavity and the three ossicles before my cochlea exploded and I can't hear anything.

   I went inside my room, and grab my favorite book. It's seems to be perfect but I can still hear the loud music. I cannot concentrate on reading. Hayyst, I think I need to find my own private island.

   Since I can't read my book, maybe I should go back outside. Relax Lucas, it's only for Jax's birthday. After this you can read all your books.

   "Lucas, do you want some cocktail?" alok ni tita..

   "Thanks, but no thanks, Mrs. Caxton. I'm okay with this cup of tea." I answered.

   "Wow, you don't need to talk to me that formal. I'm just your aunt, this is not a formal party.." she commented.

   I smiled, "It's my way of respecting you, tita.."

   "You sounded more mature than the others.."

   "I'll take that as a compliment," I smirked.

   "Okay, enjoy the party!" usal n'ya saka tumalikod.

   "Wait," pagpigil ko sa kanya..

   "Yes?" humarap siya na nakangiti..

   "Can I ask you something?"

   "Oh, what is it that a Lucas Martin wants an answer from me.." she sounded amuse..

   "About Ms. Fergie, Avril's mother.." usal ko..

   "What makes you so curious about her?" she raised one eye-brow..
  
   "I want to help Avril and her mom. Hindi maayos ang relasyon nila, hindi kinakausap ni Avril ang mom n'ya. I'm just--"

   "And you want me to?" paghihintay niya ng sagot ko..
 
   "Can you help me to convince, Avril?" pagpapatuloy ko..

   "Lucas, as much as I want to help you. I can't because it's her life, it's her problem and her decision. Let her decide, we can't just tell her this and that. Parang nahihimasok ka sa buhay niya.." sagot niya.. 
   
    I nodded, "I understand.."

   "Hey, don't worry." Hinawakan niya ang balikat ko. "Magbabati din sila, hindi din nila matitiis ang isa't isa."

    I beamed a smile before she left..

    "L-Lucaaas! *hik*" biglang lumitaw si Keiton sa tabi ko.

   I covered my ears. "What?" I irritatedly asked.

   "Si Flynn, natumba 'dun sa buhangin," usal niya. Amoy alak ang hininga niya at para s'yang lasing magsalita.
