An Invitation To Tea

It's Sunday, He's coming home. I get to see him

I'm woken by something it's a tapping on my bedroom window but as I'm on the third floor what is doing it. It doesn't stop it sounds like stones or gravel nothing big. It's one in the morning. I get up wondering if I should look out but go ahead. I pop on my bedside light and pull back the curtains "Lisa, Lisa" I hear someone calling trying not to be too loud. I open the door stepping out onto the balcony that looks over the car park there's a bus parked there and I look down and it's Ben, Ben he's standing beneath my window with a huge bunch of tulips in his hand he's wearing a big duffel coat, his hair is all floppy he looks kinda cute "Lisa Sweetheart, I couldn't go home without seeing you" he says making me laugh 

"Ben it's one in the morning" I say hoping I don't wake anyone.

"Darling can you come down just for two minutes please" he says and I just smile and nod at him. Grabbing my keys and checking on the kids who are fast asleep. I run downstairs in my dressing gown and slippers. As I get to the foyer door Ben comes running to meet me "Lis" he whispers I can feel myself crying as he scoops me up in his arms giving me the biggest hug just like he promised "I owed you a hug" he says pulling me so close taking my breath away

"I've missed you" I tell him

"I've missed you too, oh sweetheart"

"I got you these" he says and all I can do is laugh and cry at the same time as he hands me the tulips. I hear tapping from the bus window must be his mates making faces at him.

David's Point Of View

"Hey there she is" I say to Jez "Hey you lot what do you think you are doing" I shout at the students who have all rushed to the window

"But Sir we want to see" they all shout

"Jesus Davy she's gorgeous even in her dressing gown and slippers" he laughs

"She certainly is a beauty I wasn't expecting this" I say

"What do you mean" Jez says

"Oh come on Jezza you remember Wendy she looked like Cruella Deville's mother and that was was on a good day" he laughs in agreement

"Sir what do you think he is saying to her" one of the lads asks

"Dean don't even think about it you'll have a nose bleed lad" I tell him

"I wonder what he is saying" Jez asks and I look at him grinning

"Touch it for me" I joke and Jez starts howling

"Shut up you twat" he says

"Look out he's going in for the kill" I say and one of the rabble shouts "SNOG WATCH............"

Lisa's Point Of View

"Look I have to go darling and you need to get some sleep but I just had to see you" he says "We can still meet tomorrow yeah" he says and I nod at him as I'm still crying. He wipes my tears away before looking into my eyes and planting the sweetest kiss I have ever had onto my lips stopping my heart all his colleagues and students are cheering as one of them shouts through the door

"Benny Boy for Christ sake put the poor girl down" he says making me smile as Ben breaks the kiss "Good evening young lady" he shouts

"Davy shut up" Ben calls to him making me laugh again as I give them a little wave "See you tomorrow" he says as he runs back to the bus, but he stops and runs back "One more" he says wrapping his arms around me. I put my hands on his face and we kiss again but this one is deeper and I ache again. He could certainly kiss. I watch his walk back to the bus, waving to him until he is out of sight.
