Well tonight's the night, the night of the show. All the kids were ready well I think they were Zoe and Dean had done themselves proud plus their romance was blossoming bless them, proper sweethearts. I had done so many of these shows and yet I still got nervous with every one. Lisa and the kids were coming with Dad and Gran and Lisa's Dad was coming too using the night to introduce us to his new girlfriend Julie. Lisa was a little cautious about meeting her would any woman be good enough for her dear old Dad hmm tough call. We had been to another of the antenatal classes Lisa was becoming more excited and not quite so scared about the birth now and I knew with constant reassurance and love from me that she would be fine.

I still marveled at how beautiful she looked she was absolutely glowing everything about her just shone I was more in love with her that I ever thought I could be my heart swelled every time I looked at her. The weeks had gone by so fast only eight weeks left now till we get to meet our little girl I couldn't help but feel excited but I felt guilty because I knew what Lisa had to go through to get to it. It was as Harry had said the most natural thing in the world and that she would do what nature intended for her but I just wanted it to go smoothly for her. I was so very proud of her the way she had coped with everything that life had thrown at her not just these last few weeks since the bombing but the whole of her pregnancy she had had so much to deal with, most would've given up but she just fought on. I still get that fear that stroke I pain that goes through me when I think I could've lost her and our little baby but I just thanked those stars that until I met Lisa had never gone my way, for what they had done for me, for us.

I'm sorted in my suit ready but as always I can't do my tie I just go to struggle when Lisa walks in "hey just in time then am I" she says, she does make fun that I can't do a tie properly but I don't care 

"Come here baby" she says, Lisa had bought me a new tie especially for tonight to go with my new charcoal grey suit and light grey shirt the tie being the same colour with little black stars on it because she said I was her star but surely it was the other way around. Lisa looked adorable as always shed bought a new dress a black wrap around long sleeved dress that cuddled her baby bump perfectly with a pair of bright red shoes because as you know she does like shoes and of course because she had the shoes she had to have a matching bag, my wife the proper girly girl that she was, so feminine it blew me away and she couldn't look anymore feminine than she did right now.

"Will I do now Mummy?" I ask her 

"You look very handsome" she tells me 

"And you looking stunning my angel" I tell her 

"For your eyes only my darling" she says ah could she be any cuter. Everyone was ready downstairs we were just waiting for Geraint and Julie to arrive. 

"Am I pretty Daddy?" Ellie asks me and she was my little princess 

"You are the prettiest girl here" I whisper in her ear 

"And mummy" she says, she never forgets her mummy 

"Yes and mummy" I tell her. There's a knock at the door so Dad answers it 

"Pops" the kids shout 

"Hey you two come and give pops a cwtch" Geraint says the lady standing next to him looks very shy it's clearly Julie, she's pretty with a kind face. 

"Who's this pops?" Riley asks not missing a thing 

"This is Julie" he tells him 

"Is she your best friend" he asks he used to say that I was Lisa's best friend before he asked me to be his Daddy
