Well it's the day of our first antenatal class I can't help but feel nervous, Ben on the other hand is looking forward to it although whether he'll feel the same when we are done god only knows. We have to go to the hospital for them and Harry would be taking them. I was just hoping that they wouldn't show any videos or anything like that or I would be out of there. We had been told to wear comfy clothing joggers and loose tops does this mean we'd be rolling around on the floor and ridiculous stuff, oh god I'm really not sure about this.

We are all sat at the table having tea I must be in a world of my own a bit "Sweetheart are you OK" Ben asks

"Yeah, I'm fine" I say but as always he doesn't believe me he bends to my ear and whispers

"Fibber" he says smiling "Whats wrong?" he says quietly rubbing my knee "Is it tonight?" see he knows I nod gently to him "It'll be fine darling I'll be with you and if you really don't like it we can come from there yeah" I agree to that. Gran has noticed us talking

"Its your class tonight Isn't it lovey?" she says

"Yeah it is Gran we need to be there for seven" I tell her

"She's nervous Gran" Ben tells her

"I thought you were" see even she knows, what is it with these Langley's it's like they are programmed at birth to love, to care, to notice every tiny thing. "You'll be fine cherub the whole point of these is to prepare you to make you feel more relaxed about it all, once you get there it'll all be peachy" she has a way with words.

"Daddy how did Mummy's baby get in her tummy?" Riley asks just out of the blue causing me to choke on my food getting a piece stuck in my throat Dad taps my back

"Cough it up lass" he says laughing

"Well Daddy?" Gran asks grinning

"Uh well" Ben starts looking at me "The thing is Riley" he continues is he avoiding the question "You know when a Mummy and Daddy love each other" he says I can't wait to hear what he says

"Like you love Mummy" he says

"Yes darling" Ben answers "Well they have a special cuddle and then a baby grows in Mummy's tummy" aw how cute is that, Gran is all emotional, Dad is just smiling

"A cuddle" he says looking confused

"Yeah but one for just Mummy's and Daddy's" he tells him

"Oh OK" he says and carries on with his tea.

"Well done Daddy" I turn and say to him he looks rather pleased with himself.

"How does the baby come out" Riley asks again

"Shall I get pudding" I say

"Mummy will go to hospital for the baby to come out" Gran tells him he seems fine with that too.

We help get the kids ready for bed before we go, Ben insists on driving tonight not wanting to go on the tube to get me any more worked up before we get to the class. When we arrive there are about nine or ten other couples there are some in a huddle they obviously know each other already. There's one couple sitting on their own, they look about our age maybe older "Should we go and say hello" I say to Ben

"Yeah why not" the couple seem quite shy and quiet. Ben takes the lead "Hi there" he says the couple seem grateful that we made the first move

"Hi" the man says

"I'm Ben and this is my wife Lisa" he says holding out his hand

"I'm Richard and this is my wife Natalie" he says
