Three months later,
August 14th, 2018-
"Ah, I'm free!" I yelled at the top of my lungs as I walked out of the rehab center.
"You act like it was prison." Sophia snorted out.
I looked over my shoulder and glared at her. "Don't kill my vibe bitch." She gave me a blank stare before it eventually pulled into a smile.
"Damn, I'll miss you." She pulled me into a hug before I felt something slide into my pocket. "A little parting gift."
When I pulled it out, it was a full pack of Red vines. I chuckled and pulled her into another hug, savoring the moment of most likely the last time for a while that I would see Sophia.
"Uh oh," she pulled back and when I turned around, a jet black Tesla was driving towards us. Then one blonde and one blondish brunette got out. "I'll uh, I'll see you Y/nn." She said stiffly, avoiding eye contact with the two parties. Vivian leaned against the front of her car as she stared us both with watchful eyes.
"Hey Soph." She called out.
Sophia tucked a stray hair behind her ear before forcing a smile. "Vivian." She said simply and reentered the building.
I pulled my backpack over my shoulders as I slowly walked to my sister and..ex.
"Look at you, you look good." She said and I forced a smile.
"Thanks, where's Vanessa?" I asked, not giving Dana the time of day but I could feel her eyes piercing me.
"She has a shoot so she asked if I could come. But don't worry, she told me to behave." She said, giving me a wink.
I cocked an eyebrow as I threw my bag into the trunk.
"Hi, Y/n." I heard Dana say quietly but I didn't respond.
I closed the trunk before shrugging away the tension in my shoulders. When I looked up for a split second her blue eyes looked away sadly.
I rolled my eyes before opening the back door and starting to get in.
"Y/n!" I looked back up to see Steph running out of the building, her doctors coat flying behind her like a cape. "You're leaving without a goodbye?" She questioned breathlessly.
I smirked and climbed back out. "Doesn't feel good, huh?" Her face dropped and I instantly felt bad at my bad taste of a joke. "I'm kidding, I just figured you were busy."
"I was sleeping." She said with a smile. "I wanted to give you something." She reached up to her neck and pulled out the silver necklace from under her shirt. I furrowed my eyebrows before my jaw dropped.
"You kept it?" I questioned, noticing the black guitar pic attached to the chain, with another one accompanying it.
"Of course." She said like it was the most obvious thing. "But, while I was in Africa I met this guy who could make anything out of wood." After taking the chain off, she slid off the light brown pic and handed it to me. "I didn't get word that..Envy blew up and I expected to give this to you at your high school graduation but when I came back, you were on a world tour."
I looked down at the pic and read the black burned letters.
little rockstar
I smiled down at it as I felt a lump in my throat when I tried to swallow my emotions down.
"Thank you." I said simply, looking up.
She smiled before shoving her hands into her pockets. "It's a little late I know and I understand if you won't wear it. I wouldn't want Vanessa to think anything."
