"Home!" Rosie exclaimed as soon as I took her out of her booster seat.

The American leg of the tour ended yesterday and she's been restless to get home since we stepped foot onto the plane in Virginia.

"Yep. You know what that means right?" I asked and she shook her head before seeing the hat wearing guy walk out from my backyard with a wave. Then it hit her.

"Thunder and Pan!" She exclaimed and started running to the back. After the day we came back, moms birthday, I took Alexa's words literal and had everything set up.

I hired some people to live in my house while I was gone to help get everything kickstarted. It was one mother and a son, Nate and Candace. Nate was a stud when it came to tending the horses and Dakota knew how to garden like no other. And not to mention they were both from Texas and had the cutest accents.

"Hey y'all, welcome back." Nate said with a pep in his voice. He was probably twenty years old but had the soul of an old man.

"Thanks Nate. Hope you've been keeping yourself hydrated." I said and he nodded with his usual wide smile.

"As always. I'll let y'all get settled in but whenever you wanna take the ole iron horses for a ride, you just let me know." He clapped my shoulder before walking with me to the back.

The large empty land was now halfway built up to how I wanted it to be. There was a mini stable for Thunder and Pan, a fence around the perimeter of the land so they could run freely when they wanted to. Not to mention, the garden beds were now thriving and colorful. The greens were well ready and tomatoes ripe. I really was a goddamn farmer. How ironic. I guess we really all go back to our roots.

"Mommy look!" I looked over at the garden and saw Rosie holding up a tomato. "Kota says we can pick today!"

"Really?" I smiled at the older lady who was putting tomatoes into the basket. "Hi Dakota."

"Hello Y/n." She said, the same smile as Nate. "Everything's
ripe and ready so I was thinking of making a little welcome back lunch salad."

"I'd love that, wow." I said and grabbed my own basket. "Point me in the direction." She thumbed over her shoulder and I nodded before kneeling down in the dirt and picking the red tomatoes from the stem.

I filled up the basket halfway before moving over to where Rosie was picking basil. "So.. someone's birthday is soon." She smiled and nodded. "What does the big girl want for her fourth?"

"A dog." She said immediately. "I want a little puppy that can become a big puppy."

"A big puppy?" I said with a snort. "I think I can make that happen."

After we finished picking the vegetables, we all went into the house and to the kitchen to start preparing the salad.

"Are you guys good? I think I'm gonna take Thunder for a ride." I said to Dakota and she give me a thumbs up. "Be careful babes." I pecked Rosie's forehead before walking outside. "Yo Nate."

He looked up with a smile as he held a carrot to my Pans mouth. "You ready?"

"Always." I tucked my pants into my boots before stepping onto the stir-up, my leg swinging to the other side. He tossed a hat to me and I chuckled before putting it on and grabbing the reigns. "You riding with me?"

"You bet your ass." He said before climbing unto pan. "Try and keep up." He clicked his tongue once and the horse quickly started to move out and towards the long empty pasture.

"Hell no." I gripped my reigns and slightly squeezed my legs with a whistle, making my jet black horse take off after them.

We raced around the outskirts of the lot, him obviously having the advantage from riding horses longer than I have. Didn't mean I didn't try though.
