Two days later

When I opened my eyes, I was flying on a magic carpet with princess Jasmine. That's how I knew I was sleeping and, honestly, I didn't mind not waking up.

But when she turned to face me... she wasn't Princess Jasmine. She was-

"Hey." I snapped my head up and looked at Alexa who was holding a cup of coffee with furrowed eyebrows. "You're wearing the same clothes from.. were you here all night?" She questioned in bewilderment and I sat up, stretching my back and cracking my stiff bones.

"Um.. maybe." I looked at the upturned phone and quickly picked it up before going to my missing calls list and seeing it empty. Sighing heavily, I dropped it onto the desk and clicked my tongue.

Alexa took the seat across from me, sitting down the coffee and Roscoes bag. "How many hours of sleep did you get?" She asked softly as she started to take out the breakfast.

"Um," I looked down at my watch and sniffed. "Two hours? Maybe three?" I grabbed the coffee and brought it to my lips, letting the warm sweet taste wash over my tastebuds.

"You gotta get rest, Y/nn. You're starting to overwork yourself." I waved my hand and grabbed a waffle and one chicken.

"I'm fine really. Vivian doesn't understand running the business and Ellie works hard with the artists, Nylah just got married and is spending more time with Trev so.." I shrugged and took a bite of the crispy chicken. "I'm the only one who understands the CEO stuff."

I watched as she looked at me worriedly but not saying anything. "What were you working on this time?"

I dusted off my hands and grabbed my laptop that was knocked to the side from my wild sleeping. "I was working with Spotify to get Drew's first single stream up. He's been pushing out covers but it's time for the real thing. Thing is, setting up the contracts with a company that's all the way in New York is more time consuming than I thought." I rubbed the crease in my forehead with a soft huff. "Plus Vanessa hasn't called in a while, but Drew thinks that his song Hurt for Long would be a good first single."

"Hold on." She said, her head shaking. "The real reason you were up was because.." she trailed off, waiting for me to speak.

I looked away from her and picked up the chicken wing again. "I was waiting for Vanessa.." I took a large bite and spoke out in a muffle. "To call me for a good night." I swallowed thickly and shrugged. "She didn't but, I mean.. it's cool."

I watched her eye me before looking down and shaking her head. "The fandom was so right." She whispered to herself and I cocked an eyebrow. When she noticed she spoke out loud, she looked up and cleared her throat. "I mean uh have enough tried calling her?"

"Yeah but hold on, what does the fandom say about me?" She pursed her lips and looked away coyly. "Hey," I chuckled and reached over, grabbing her wrist as she smirked. "What do they say?"

"Telling you would violate my code of honor. My Envy fam would never forgive me." I tilted my head and squinted my eyes, adding a pout for dramatic effect.

"Tell meee." I begged and trailed my hand down to her hand subconsciously. "Please?"

"Fine," She huffed out playfully, looking away as she spoke. "They say you look like a top but have a bottom heart." My jaw dropped and she shrugged. "Those are their words."

"Wow." I mumbled. "And this whole time I thought you guys said I was some sexy CEO."

"Oh we say that too." I looked back at her with a smirk and the confidence from her eyes immediately vanished and was replaced with what looked like nerves. "Yep.. every fanfiction ever." She whispered to herself again and I simply gazed into her pretty eyes when I heard the stampede of feet.
