(I was going through my chapters and saw I put Dana's twins as 7, I was thinking about my own siblings. Her twins are 4 y'all, not seven.)

"So.. what are we thinking?" I asked the girls as we sat in the conference room after being left alone to discuss our decision.

"I love Scooter, I really do." Vivian started.

"And he got us so far in our career." Nylah continued before adding with a sigh. "But it doesn't feel right."

"It feels like we aren't truly starting fresh." I nodded at Ellie as she fished out her own thoughts, taking a sip of her water. "It feels recycled."

"Yeah, I agree." I held my cup of coffee and watched the steam rise and disappear into the atmosphere. "So, what, we go independent?"

Vivian's head immediately popped up at my words. "Yes, holy shit. We should just start our own label!" I cocked my eyebrow up at her when she stood up with her arms out. "It's not impossible, we can totally do it."

"Yeah but with what artists? And we don't even have a manager." Nylah said practically just as the door opened.

We all turned our heads and watched the blonde walk over before silently sitting at the table. She grabbed my coffee and took a sip, then slid it back to me. Looking up, she smiled with her blue eyes and spoke, "So you got your manager. What's this label going to be called?"

My eyes widened as the others cheered happily. I leaned over and bumped her shoulder with a smile, grasping her attention. "It's great to have you back." She squeezed my hand in return. "Okay, so this label thing. We're going for it?"

"Why not? We won't be under a labels control, we can do things how we want to do them while also helping others out. I say let's do it." Ellie aided with a shrug.

"The way it was always intended to be." Nylah mumbled as we connected eyes and I nodded. "Now we need a label name."

We all stared at each other with smirks in silence before it was interrupted.

"Oh my gosh an Envy moment eeek!" Dana suddenly exclaimed, clapping her hands. We all gave her a look and she cleared her throat before adjusting her blazer. "Don't judge me."

-

"I can't believe she already got us an interview. Like, what the hell?" Nylah whispered.

I nodded in understanding as I stared at the outfit I was wearing. Dana got us each a stylist that fit our styles and I can say I was pleasantly okay with what I was wearing.
