I stood outside freezing my nads off as I rung the doorbell again. I hoped she would hurry the hell up because this rain wasn't getting any lighter. Oh fuck... was that lightning??

I tilted my umbrella back slightly and watched as the strike of light lit up the early morning sky. Though deadly, it was actually quite beautiful.

"If you don't start explaining in two seconds, I will give you an up close and personal feeling of lightning.." I turned back around and saw a half asleep Vanessa, clad in her robe. "..with my fist."

I simply held up a plastic bag with a smile. "I brought breakfast." Her eyes rolled as she pulled the door open more and allowed me to step in. Quickly putting the umbrella down, I shook it out and stepped into the house. "So, I usually walk to a market or something to get breakfast but everything is so close so I picked something up and.. walked here." I looked back up and she was staring at me with furrowed eyebrows. "Sorry, I should've called-"

"No." She slowly walked up to me and grabbed the front of my jacket softly, smiling up at me as she spoke. "I'm just still half asleep and kinda wanna slap you, kinda wanna kiss you."

"Well," chuckling, I held her waist. "I know how your slaps feel so... not that one please." She tried to keep her face straight but inevitably broke out into a giggle. "Hey but, just go back to bed and I'll leave and put the food on the table. I do realize six may be a little early now.."

"You think?" She rolled her eyes and turned around, pulling me with her. "But I'm not letting you walk back out there when it's storming."

I raised my eyebrows silently and followed her up the stairs. "So uh are you just gonna um.. go to uh- what?" I questioned when she started to chuckle under her breath. "What's funny?"

We reached her room and as soon as I walked in, I felt the heat from the vents wrap around me nicely. "What's funny is that no matter how much soul searching you do... you're still awkward and cute inside." She turned around and shrugged off her robe to reveal some koala pajama pants and a crewneck hoodie. A.. familiar looking hoodie at that.

"I'm going to ignore that because I swear I've seen that hoodie before." She looked down at it before quickly turning around.

"Don't know what you're talking about." She mumbled and started pulling the comforter back on the bed.

Smirking, I walked up behind her. "Vanessa... since when did you like the Royals?" She didn't respond. "Nessa.."

"Shh, don't say another word!" She hissed playfully and turned around. "Take off your jacket, it's a little wet." My grin held cockily as I pulled off the leather jacket, draping it over her chair and sliding my hands into my pockets. Knowing that she slept with my hoodie for possibly all these years got me all tingly inside. It was insanely a- "Adorable!" I snapped my head up to her and saw her phone up.

She turned her phone around and I realized what she had taken a picture of. I completely forgot that I was wearing.. my onesie.

Rosie had picked matching ones for us and I forgot she forced me to wear it last night. Crap.

"I'm tweeting this." She mumbled and I sprung forward to stop her but we only ended up crashing onto the bed, her on her stomach as I tried to wrestle the phone from her. "Stop!"

"Don't expose me bitch!" She laughed as her fingers flew across the screen at lightning speed and before I could grab it, she quickly slid it down her pajama pants, rolling over onto her back. "People think I'm cool and mysterious now."

Her hand slowly raised to the back of my head, her fingers lightly scratching my scalp, she replying coolly. "Who made you think you were cool babe because..." I rolled my eyes and went to pull away but she pulled me down further with a soft laugh. "I'm kidding, you're cool."
