I sat tiresomely in the chair as I was hooked up to the mic. My album was out but instead of being super pumped like I expected, I was tired. I just wanted to get in bed and sleep.

I brought the coffee cup to my lips and took a slow sip, letting the coffee beans slightly awaken my senses.

"Hello, Y/n. I'm Kiera, I'll be interviewing you on behalf of Genius." A young lady said as she sat across from me.

"Nice to meet you." I said clearly and took one more sip before propping my leg up on the couch that I was on. "Zachy, can you get me one of those five hour energy things?" He dug into my backpack and tossed it to me. "Thanks brother." I pulled off the wrapper before quickly downing the small bottle, hoping it would give me a bit of edge with the two hours of sleep that I had.

"Are you all set?" Kiera asked as she shuffled through the cards in her hands. I nodded softly after giving the little bottle back to my manager. "Okay, we're ready." she told the camera man. He counted down and pointed at her once she reached one. "Y/n it's great to have you here. I've always wanted to have a sit down with you."

"Really?" I smiled and shifted in my spot. "Haven't heard that before."

She gave me a smile and glanced down at the card for a millisecond before her eyes were back up. "Yes, you were thrown into the like light and your life had been go go go ever since. I have a lot to ask you."

"Uh oh, I'm scared now."

Her head shook lightly as she crossed on leg over the other. "Don't be scared. You can pass any question." I took in a deep breath and she waited for a second. "You ready?"

"I think so." I squeaked out playfully.

"I just wanna talk about the last year of your life. It seems that this has probably been the most eventful year of your career." I nodded. "You're on your own, you ran into some trouble mentally and now this album. How would you describe this year?"

"Eye opening." I leaned back on the couch and breathed out deeply. "I learned so much this year and it's just crazy. I found out real friends from fakes, I learned that even the most humble person can lose their heads. I lost my head."

"What was that like?" She pried but it wasn't pressure filled.

"Losing yourself is something like..once you get your grounding again you're like 'how could I have done that' you know?" She nodded. "I took a step back and looked at everything I did and..I was embarrassed. For myself, for my family, for my career. I wanted to just disappear for a while so I did."

"And you got married during that disappearance?" I hummed with a smirk and nodded.

"I did, yes." I tried not to dwell on how rocky everything was right now and focused on the good moments. "Vanessa was my rock and I knew that so I married her. She..she just got me, you know? She knew how to handle me."

"I think that's why everyone loves you two together. You both are different yet the same. Also, another baby is in the way." Whoop, there it was.

My body stiffened and I stared in space for a moment. You gave her a baby and took away mines. Her hard eyes flashed in my head again as she backed away from me like I was the monster.

"Y/n?" Kiera questioned. "Do you want to skip?"

"Please." I breathed out and dough the urge to let my eyes water again.

She eyed me in concern before looking down at her card for a little longer this time. "Okay and your album that came out today is probably the most raw you've ever been. Can you talk about that process?"
