"Oh my god, she's the cutest!" Camila whisper shouted as she watched Rosie sleep on my chest.

"Yeah. She looks nothing like me though, except for like, her lips and hair." Camila pouted and stared at Rosie. "Wanna hold her?"

"Can I?" She asked with hope. I nodded softly and leaned forward, laying the newborn into her arms softly. She cradled her with a small smile, adoration washing over her face. "God, I want a baby now."

"Um, yeah, until they puke in your hair or wake up five times a night or take a shit five minutes after you change their diaper." Her eyes were wide with fear as her arms went stiff. "But yeah, it's not so bad after two." That didn't help.

"Right.." She said and looked away slightly. "So, you happy to be back home?" She asked, referring to us reaching Kansas and intersecting with her tour (the reason she was here right now)

"Yeah. Some of my family are coming to see, which is always super cool. I know my aunts are coming to see me for the first time." I said with a smile, knowing it's been a while since I've seen Erin and Rebeca, not to mention their rascal children.

"What about, what was her name?" She looked away in thought, snapping when she got it. "Stephanie! I remember you mentioning her."

"Oh yeah," My cheeks started to heat up slightly as I looked away. "She's coming too."

"Hm," Camila started, leaning forward slightly to meet my eyes. "So like...is there something happening there or..?"

"Well," I scratched my jaw and shrugged. "I feel like we're both just comfortable with each other. Maybe more than others would be but-" I stopped as she snorted, catching my drift. "But, I don't know, just going with the flow I guess."

"I wanna meet this girl. Most doctors I've had are old and losing hair." Smirking slightly, I leaned back against the couch and shook my head. "What?"

"Oh, you'll see." I snickered out and reached for Rosie who was starting to fidget. "I'm surprised she lasted that long; she doesn't like anyone holding her at all. Besides maybe Vivian." I mumbled and rested the infant on my chest, her whimpers subsiding once her tiny hand wrapped around my necklace, per usual.

"It's 'cause I'm me and I'm a baby whisperer." I gave her a look and she flipped her hair over her shoulder. "It's true."

"Yeah okay weirdo." I said and pressed my lips delicately against her soft skin. Though I still had a weird feeling in my chest, Rosie was really starting to grow on me. She reminded me of some bad shit but..she was also mine. And I'll always take care of what's mine. My babygirl.

"Knock knock." I heard a familiar voice and I smirked slightly at Camila, watching her stand up and start to the door. She pulled the door open and stepped back, her body freezing for a moment. "Oh sorry, am I at the wrong room? Y/n told me it was the one with the buzz lightyear sign." Yup, thaaats me.

"In here." I called out and Camila finally regained her composure and moved to the side, letting Steph in. I cocked my eyebrow when she came in with her scrubs on. "I don't think we need a Doc on tour miss."

"Hush." She demanded and sat besides me, pulling me in for a quick hug. "I started the drive as soon as I got off work and I didn't have time to change. Is something wrong with your friend?" She whispered the last part and I looked up to see Camila idling by the door still with her eyes dancing around the room.

"She probably thinks you're cute. Camila is gay as fuck." I said out loud and she glared at me momentarily. "Anyways, Camila this is Stephanie, Steph that's Camila."

"Nice to meet you. I think some of my younger patients play your music. Havana na na-" she slapped my shoulder when snickered at her lack of knowledge. "Shut. Up."
