Before you read, I wanna explain why I decided to continue. A lovely friend and reader of mine brought to my attention that... There's legit so much more I can do with this story before I call it. So, after throwing around some ideas, I agreed to keep it alive. So *dab* fuck off let's go.

Three months later, November 15th

I sighed as I watched him slide his bags onto the conveyor belt before turn to face me with a wide smile. "Stop looking so sad." He sighed out as he walked back over to me. "I'm trying not to cry today."

"I know." I mumbled, handing him his plane ticket. "I'm just use to you being my little boy, you know? Now you're a college man." Huffing, I watched as he now basically stood at my height with a bit of stubble on his chin. "You're only seventeen, gap years aren't too bad you know-"

"Y/nn." He said, stopping me in my mist of rambles. Smiling softly, he placed his hands on my shoulders. "I'll be fine. Your fourth tour date is in New York so you'll see me in like a week and a half." I simply hummed. "Plus Matt lives out there and promised he'd look after me."

"That doesn't exactly make me feel any better." I chuckled out before smiling at his warm brown eyes. "Please call me as soon as you land, and after you get settled into your dorm, and before your first class."

"You'll get annoyed with how much I'm going to call you, don't worry."

I smiled sadly before pulling him into a hug. "I'll never get annoyed with you, Johann." He wrapped his arms around me and rubbed my back softly. "Please be safe. If you need more money or something, just text me."

"I will." The intercom called his flight and he slowly pulled back. Just then, a flash of blonde rushed past me and collided with his legs. "Oh god, my babyyy." He laughed out and picked up Rosie. "I'm gonna miss you sugar butt."

"I miss you to Hans." She mumbled into his neck. "Will you still call me for playtime?"

"Of course! We're still having our tea time so you better not forget." She giggled and hugged him close. "I love you, little sis. Be good for mommy."

"I will." She sung out before wiggling our of his grasp and landing on her feet. She dug into her little royals bomber jacket and pulled out a small slip of paper. "I write you a letter. Read it on the plane."

"I will, I promise." He reached around his neck and pulled off a necklace he's had since I've met him. It was a single chain with a four leaf clover charm. I never found out the reason he kept it but I knew there wasn't a day he didn't have it on.

So as he kneeled down and clipped it onto her neck, I knew this was a special moment. "My mom gave me this before she left me." Rosie wouldn't understand the meaning of 'left' but I did.. "She told me it would give me good luck," he looked up at me slowly and smiled. "And it did." I smiled back, my heart warming as he looked back at Rosie. "So, now I'm giving it to you so you can remain lucky and prosperous."

"Okay!" She said obviously as she stared down at the necklace. "It's pretty."

"Yes it is." He sighed before leaning forward and pressing a kiss to her forehead. "I'll see you soon, okay?"

"Okay, love you Han." He stood up again and pulled on his backpack as he slid the note Rosie gave him into the pocket.

Johann clapped his hands together and smiled happily as he started to back away. "Who knows, maybe I'll have one of those cliche New York romances where we meet in a coffee shop when it's raining."

"Where you'll be studying your ass off?" I continued jokingly and he shrugged.

"My major is film... I think we'll be making movies." I gagged playfully and he laughed loudly before spinning around with his hands up. "Vertu tilbúinn, New York. Jóhann is coming!"
