"Welcome to the Envy meet and greet where we answer the same questions from the last five shows. No shade though." Vivian said into the mic as we settled down on the chairs, the crowd laughing as I shook my head.
"Hey, it's not their fault they want confirmation, sheesh." I mumbled and grabbed two water bottles from the table, sitting next to Nylah today. "Anyways, how are we guys? I wanna hear some New York accents."
"We don't have accents!" Someone towards the back shouted and I squinted to see her.
"That's a lie, you just don't hear it." I responded and she raised her hand. "Okay question, go."
"Not a question but you have the most American sounding accent I have ever heard." My jaw dropped as the others chuckled. "Midwest headass."
"Oh she's coming for you." Vivian said and I flipped her off. "Hey, I wasn't born in Kansas so you can't say shit."
"Shut up, Vivian." I said before rolling my eyes. "I don't think Kansas natives have an accent, at least I've never been questioned on it. Though, I have heard we tend to over pronounce stuff. Like I say caramel, not carmel."
"You and Ellie are the only true bred Kansans. And El has the whitest white girl voice so I believe it." Ny said and Ellie smacked her thigh. "It's true!"
"Is it not." I smiled at the brunette as she flipped her hair. "Next question." She said sassily and I chuckled. "Yellow hoodie, go ahead."
"Hi, for Y/n." Oh boy. "How did you and Alexa meet?"
I instantly smiled and looked at the side behind the curtain where Alexa stood, drinking her coffee as she talked to Dana.
"How did Alexa and I meet." I purposely emphasized her name and she slowly looked up with squinted eyes. "Honestly, she stalked the hell outta me-"
"No I didn't!" She exclaimed and I chuckled along with the crowd at them hearing her.
"But no, she wanted a job as my assistant and she was very persistent. Eventually I gave her the job and uh yeah, here we are. She's not my assistant anymore though because I.. yeah next." I mumbled and lowered the mic with a small smile.
"Ok hi I love you guys. My question is do you plan to do an overseas leg of the tour and if so, where?"
Ellie took that question while I swiveled in my chair slowly, my eyes steadily coming back to Alexa who's attention was back on Dana as they laughed about something.
"Jesus you're like captain heart eyes." Ny whispered as she held the mic behind her back so it wouldn't pick anything up. "Just go give her a kiss, get it out of your system, then come back."
I smirked and handed her my mic. "Bet."
Her eyes widened when I actually stood up and waltzed backstage. "Where the hell is she going?" Vivian mumbled.
At the sound of my footsteps, she raised her head up and smiled. "Hey-" I wrapped my arms around her waist and dipped her down slightly as I connected our lips. She hummed in shock and wrapped one around around my neck as she kissed back, my heart thumping.
I pulled back slightly and pecked her lips continuously before moving to her chin, then her nose and stopping at her forehead. What melted my heart, she giggled the entire time. I pulled away and stared at her honey brown eyes as she gazed back up at me happily. "Let's go on a date tonight."
