"Don't forget the lucky charms!" Johann exclaimed as him and his new bro, as he called him, Kai played some game on the system he brought over.

"And pizza." Kai piped up. I gave them both a look and simultaneously, they mumbled, "Please."

I sighed softly. "That's better. Rosie is asleep and she will be for a few hours but don't leave this room." He saluted me with his eyes still focused on the television.

Shaking my head at the teenage boys antics, I started the walk to the grocery store that was luckily only down the street.

It's been two days since I've seen the twins but the hurting of what Ezra did didn't fade. It hurt like hell but.. I understood why he did it. I would most likely react the same way.

It still hurt though. Stella's reaction eased the hurting because I couldn't imagine both of my kids hating me. Stella and Rosie were the only ones keeping me from breaking down into a sad mess. Them and the motivation from Johann.

Once I made it to the grocery store, I grabbed a shopping cart and started walking down the aisles.

"Y/n, Y/n!" I raised my head up. "Hi, Macie Brown, I intern for Buzzfeed."

"Buzzfeed." I mumbled with a smile. "Your quizzes are goat." She smiled bashfully and I stopped, leaning against the shopping cart. "How can I help you?"

"Okay, so I'm a new journalist and my boss is kind of an arse-hole." I snorted at her way of saying asshole which only made her blush more. "And he won't let me report on big stories because he thinks I'm not good enough. Would you maybe... wanna.."

"You want to interview me?" I finished and she nodded softly. I took in a deep breath and looked around before shrugging. "Sure, why not."

She squealed and started jumping around before stopping once she saw my cocked eyebrow. "Sorry, ehem. When are you free?"

"Right now." Her eyes widened and I nodded my head to the side, pushing my cart again. "We'll do a low budget, real interview."

"O-Okay." She was quick at my side as she pulled out her phone and held it up slightly, evidently recording. "Y/n Y/ln, you're on record. Is that okay?"

"Yep." I smiled softly at a worker that walked passed.

"Okay first uh- why did you uh-"

"Hey," I whispered and stopped again for a moment to face her. "You're fine, alright? It's just me."

She let out a soft breath and nodded, smiling as she asked me the question. "Why did you basically leave the face of the earth... did you leave earth-"

I chuckled aloud, shaking my head softly as I kept pushing my cart. "No. I didn't go on some expedition to mars. I was in Iceland, figuring some things out."

She nodded and looked down at her phone. "Iceland? That's pretty far from Los Angeles."

"Yeah, it is but it's what I needed. No paparazzi, no pressure, no A list. Just me and Johann." She cocked her eyebrow.

"Johann?" She questioned.

I nodded with a smile. "Yeah.. he's a kid I became close with over there. I'm, well, I adopted him." Her eyes widened. "Yeah." I chuckled, stopping at the cereal section as I grabbed the lucky charms, knowing it was Jo's favorite.

"And what about your family over here? Were they okay with you going away for a few years?" I slowly lowered the cereal into the basket, staring out into space silently. "We can scrap that question if you want, I'm not pressuring you-"
