Chapter 8

Hero walks towards Mike and hugs him like they're old friends.

"Hero my boy! I was expecting you! Your uncle told me last month on set that you'd be following my class."

Wait. What?! He walks in late, interrupts me and the lecturer doesn't mind?! I'm pissed off again. Stupid, arrogant..

I'm still looking angry when Hero takes the seat next to me. In the corner of my eye I can see him smiling at me. I manage to not look at him the entire class.

"Okay people, don't forget about the faculty mixer tomorrow night. You might meet some important people who can really help make your student films and your career." Mike ends class.

"Do you want to go get a coffee?" Ana asks.

"Well, I'm meeting this boy Sebastian at Bute Park. We were planning on getting some drinks there since the sun is out. You can come if you like."

"Oh, I've met Seb! He's great. Can I come too? I'm sure he wouldn't mind." Lucas adds. I actually do mind but I keep quiet. He invites Hero, Amy and Will as well. Amy and Will have other plans.

"No thanks. Wouldn't want to ruin Charlotte's date," Hero stares into my eyes while saying this to Lucas. I only roll my eyes and leave.
