Amaya's outfit but with a white tank top^

Alyx's POV

When class finishes, I grab my stuff and quickly head to my last class. After it ends, I find Wes and ride to his house with him. I know I told her we could talk about it, but how am I supposed to tell her I keep having dirty visions about her? That I can't keep a boner down around her? That I jerked off thinking of her in every position? Ugh! I should just make something else up. I don't want to lie to her, though. That's something I never want to do. I can lie for her, not to her.

When we finally get to his house, we eat some left over lasagna his mom made last night and play some Call of Duty. After a game of zombies, I hear my phone ring. I look down and see Amaya's name. Calling me. She's never called me before. My heart starts thumping in my chest. I excuse myself and step out in the hall.

"Hello?" I say, nervously after answering it.

"Hey." Her voice even sounds pretty over the phone. I probably sound like an idiot.

"What's up?" Really, Alyx? You know exactly why she's calling.

"'What's up?' Really? I thought maybe we were going to talk today, but you vanished after class. So, you're still avoiding me, I guess."

"I'm... sorry."

"Can I come over? You said I still could even if we're not talking," she reminds me in small, quiet voice.

"I'm not home." I grit my teeth. I want to see her so bad. Hearing her just makes it worse.

She sighs through the phone. "Where are you?"

"I'm with Wes at his house."

"Okay. Do you want me to pick you up later?"

"I was going to stay the night." Lie. Ugh, exactly what I didn't want to do.

I hear another huff of air come through the phone. I can tell she's getting frustrated with me. "Fine. I guess call when you want to start talking to me again," she angrily says and hangs up the phone.

I go back in his room and grab the controller. I just feel guilty now. I end up staying the night anyway, so it didn't look like a lie.

I can't believe how stupid I am. Like really stupid. I dragged this out for three days. It's already Thursday. The more I wanted to talk to her, I kept thinking about how she ignored me, before and after I showed up at her house. It's kind of like she's getting a taste of her own medicine. I know it's petty, but now she's getting to worry like I was.

If she even is. She could be getting annoyed and realize I'm not worth it. Shit. I need to talk to her now that I've calmed down about the whole thing. My bruises have even already started to heal and turn yellow.

I scan my eyes through the cafeteria. I see her sitting alone with Elaine again. She flips her hair over her shoulder and almost catches me watching. The guys haven't been sitting with her. I decide now's not the best time and wait to talk to her later.

In sixth period, she comes in the class with earbuds in her ears. She's wearing a red flannel over a white tank top and light blue jeans with rips in them. She glances up at me and glares when we make eye contact. She looks away and continues to her seat. She's definitely mad. I really do need to clear things up.

After my last class, I walk out the doors and look around for her. I see her in the parking lot, almost to her car. I start to jog to catch up with her. She opens her car door the same time I reach her.

"Hi," I simply say.

She turns and looks at me with her earbuds in her ear again. She looks at me with a solemn expression. She nods towards her car, gesturing for me to get in. She sits down in her seat and closes the door. I walk around and climb in. She takes the earbuds out and lays them in her console.
