THE WEEKEND PART 3

After Jay hangs up with Cardo he is confused. He has so many emotions going through his head. Why is Cardo so concerned about his sexuality? During the conversation he learned a lot about Cardo and noticed that he is going to give this friendship thing a chance. He wanted to tell someone about this phone call he just had. There was only one person who came in mind. T. 

Jay grabs his phone sits up on his bed and calls T.

Jay:" Hey T. Guess what this happened?"

T:" Jay it's 1:00 am in the morning this better be good!"

Jay:" Cardo face timed me!"

T sits up on her bed now fully awake.

T:" Okay I'm up. So, what happened?"

Jay:" He wanted to talk to me more and get to know me and shit like that."

T:" OK? That's it?"

Jay:" No! I saw him with his shirt off. Girl I had to stop myself, he was looking too good."

T:" But I thought you didn't have a crush on him?"

Jay:" Just because I say he looks good doesn't mean I have a crush on him!"

T:" Denial doesn't fit you Jay."

Jay:" Girl please. I haven't seen what he looks like in the sunlight. What if his face is ugly?"

T:" Then his body is popping? Look I don't think he could look bad if he tired. Look Jay I love you I do but I have to get my beauty rest. Call me later?"

Jay:" I don't know why you are rushing me off the phone, you are going to still be ugly in the morning."

T:" I hate you."

Jay:" Love you too." 

T:" Jay get some rest. And love you too."

Jay hangs up the phone and picks out his outfit for tomorrow. Jay did want to be Cardo's friend but he wasn't sure if he liked him on a romantic level. One thing was certain they were both happy to have a new friend.

THE NEXT DAY @ CARDO'S HOUSE

Cardo is cleaning up the apartment. He makes himself some breakfast and sees a note from Eli.

"Hey man I will be out all day so don't wait up. Later. 

-E."

Cardo throws the note away and continues to eat his cereal he gets ready for the day.

12 PM NOON

Cardo was sitting on his couch browsing Instagram as the doorbell rang. Cardo opens the door to see Jay with sunglasses, swimming trunks, no shirt and hair in a curls mess.  Cardo took time to look at Jay. This was the first time they got to really look at each other. Jay was doing the same. Jay took off his glasses and decided to break the ice since they were both staring at each other.

Jay:" Are you just going to stare at me or let me in?" he laughs.

Cardo:" Yeah man. Come in. I'm so excited you are here. So do you want to play video games first or go to the pool?"

Jay:" Can't you tell by my outfit. The pool. It's a beautiful day out let's enjoy it."

Cardo:" Okay let me change and then we can go."

Jay :" I'll be here."

Cardo leaves to go upstairs to change. Jay pulls out his phone and texts T.

J* Girl, you were right he is good looking. But I said I'm not ready for a relationship right now, plus he has a girlfriend.

T* I told you.
