SECRETS AND DENIAL PART 2

T and Jaylin spend the next two days in the apartment. T's phone rings.

Jay:" Girl why does Eli keep calling you?"

T:" He's my man. Don't get jealous! I have to take this, be right back."

Jay:" Yeah whatever."

Jay starts cleaning the apartment while T goes upstairs in Jay's room to talk.

T:" Hey do you have the setup?"

Eli:" Yes, I'm going to try to hook Cardo up with a girl."

T:" What does this have to do with the party?"

Eli:" Because the girl could help him decide if he's still in love with Jess."

T:" Boy are you dumb? Jay and Cardo obviously have something going on! We have to stay focus! When is this party? Jay has me dying in his sadness."

Eli:" Right, sorry. The party is tonight. Just tell Jay to come but don't tell him Cardo will be there."

T:" Great I just got my best friend back and I'm lying to him again."

Eli:" If it makes you feel better I'm lying to my best friend too. T this was your idea. It's not too late to change your mind-"

T:" No, we need to know the truth. Plus what if they have feelings for each other, don't you want them to be happy?"

Eli:" Yeah but I never saw Cardo dating a guy."

T:" I'm sure he's confused just like you. Let's just get them to the party and see what's going on between them."

Eli:" True, hey Cardo just got home I have to tell him about the party. Talk to you tonight?"

T:" Yes, I will make sure he's there."

ELI/RICARDO PLACE

Cardo:" Hey man who was that on the phone?"

Eli:" T."

Cardo:" Oh you guys are still a thing?"

Eli:" Sit your single ass down. Yes she's my girl!"

Cardo:" Well I'm proud of you man."

Eli:" Thanks. You know you could tell me anything right?"

Cardo:" Yeah. Why are you telling me this?"

Eli:" You have been down ever since Jessica."

Cardo:" Jessica."

Eli:" So I was thinking we should have a party!"

Cardo:" A party for what? It's not my birthday."

Eli:" To celebrate you being single man!"

Cardo:" I guess. Who is all going to be there?"

Eli:" Just my girl and some classmates from school."

Cardo:" Jay isn't coming?"

Eli:" Why would Jay come he hates me. Plus you guys haven't talked since the last time he was here right?"

Cardo:" You're right."

Eli:" Unless there is something I should know?"

Cardo:" Uh nope. Do you need help setting up for the party?"

Eli:" Sure man. Plus there is this girl from our history class who has a crush on you. I told her I would set you up with her."

Cardo:" Sure..."
