Love Stories [ Finished ]

PROBLEMS

Cardo kisses Jay as he leaves to go home. Jay closes the door with a big smile on his face. He walks into the kitchen to get water. T and Eli are on the couch talking as Eli's phone keeps ringing. T is trying to ignore the sound but it keeps happening. She can't take it!

T:" Aren't you going to answer that?"

Eli looks down at his phone and covers up the name that appears. T gives him a look.

T: "Are you texting other girls?"

Jay is listening to the conversation as he drinks his water.

Eli: "How many times have we been through this, you are the only girl I talk to."

T:" Only girl? I'm your girlfriend! All you do is be on your phone. The only time we hang out is to have sex. How are you supposed to love me if I don't even know the password to your phone?"

Jay almost chokes on his water. He had no idea they said the love word. I guess they were both in love.

Eli:" I promise nothing is going on."

T: "I think you should leave."

Eli:" You don't want me to drive you home?"

T:" Jaylin can drive me. I can't stand the look of your face right now. It's like I'm invisible."

Eli: "What can I do to fix it?"

T:" Nothing. You can leave."

Eli gets up from the couch.

Eli:" I love you. Even if you're mad at me."

He grabs his keys off the counter says goodbye to Jay and leaves. Jay walks into the living room and hands T a glass of tea. He sits down next to her.

Jay:" Something is wrong. Tell me."

T takes a sip of her tea and tries not to cry.

T:" It's Eli he's distant."

Jay: "Distant how?"

T:" All he wants to do is have sex. The last date we went on I had to beg him to go. It's like he doesn't want this relationship to work!"

Jay:" Have you told him how you feel?"

T:" Yeah and say what? I want to spend more time with you and go on dates with you because I love you? Yeah like that's going to work."
Jay: "T, you just said you love him! When did this happen?"

T:" A few weeks ago. I didn't want to tell you until I was sure. I feel like a bad girlfriend."

Jay: "Does he treat you right? I mean does he love you back?"

T:" I think so, I mean that is what he said. But yes he treats me good."

Jay:" Good to know, Eli was about to catch these hands."

T:" You're too cute to fight."

Jay:" I may be little but these hands work."

T:" I believe you but why won't you get Cardo to beat his ass?"

Jay:" You have a point. He is my boyfriend now!"

They both laugh.

Jay:" But I don't think he would fight his best friend. Look, T,  I think everything is going to be ok. Just talk to Eli I'm sure he's a good guy."

T:" I thought you didn't like him?"

Jay:" I don't but I see how happy he makes you. What kind of best friend would I be if I don't want you to be happy? It's going to be ok. Now you are going to sleep over. It's not good to drive when you're emotional."

T:" You always know the right things to say. Thank you."

They hug and head upstairs.

ELI AND CARDO'S APARTMENT

Cardo: "Hey man, your back early. I thought you were going to spend the night with T?"

Eli:" She got mad at me again for being on my phone."

Cardo: "Yeah I noticed that at the party. What's up with that? Your not cheating are you?"

Eli: "Now why would I cheat? You would beat my ass! No man I wouldn't cheat. I really care about her. I brought a promise ring and I'm waiting for it to come in the mail so that she can get it."

Cardo:" Oh,. Well your doing a bad job at hiding it."

Eli:"You're right! I should take some time away so it can be a surprise."

Cardo:" I don't think that's a good idea ma-"

Eli:"Thanks your a genius."

Cardo sighs as we watches Eli walk away. He pulls put his phone he calls Jay.

J* Hey babe it's midnight. Is something wrong?

C* No everything is fine. I just wanted to hear your voice.

J* Oh that's sweet. Hold on let me go somewhere so I can talk.

Jay walks down the steps .

C* Eli is planning on giving T a promise ring and she thinks he is cheating on her.

J* Wow, he must really love her. Does she know.

C* If she did I don't think she would be freaking out. Your voice sounds sexy right now.

J*Well thank you babe. But don't start something if you can't finish it.

C* Oh I can finish what I start

J* Is that so?

C* Do you want me to prove it.

J* Sorry I have to get back to T.

C* You are a tease.

Jay laughs and hangs up. He is about to walk back to T when he sees a text from Cardo.

Meet me in the park tomorrow. Around 7 I want to watch the stars with you.

Jay texts back.

I'll think about it. Goodnight.

THE NEXT NIGHT

Jay meets Cardo at the park.

Cardo:"I almost thought you wouldn't come."

Jay:"And miss a time to hang out with my boyfriend? No I wouldn't miss that."

Cardo pulls Jay close to him Jay bites his lip and they kiss.  A car pulls up in black parked where neither one of them can see them.

Jessica:"So he really moved on? That bitch!"

???:"But didn't you cheat on him?"

Jessica:"That's besides the point. My first plan was a fail. I should have never sent you on Jay. It only brought them closer."

Kevin:"You should have told me he was cute."

Jessica:"Shut up Kevin! You work for me. I need to get Cardo back. I need to get Jay out of the picture."

Kevin:"And how are you going to do that?"

Jessica laughs. 

Jessica:" Kevin you are so dumb. He knows who I am! Plus I never said me. You are going to make him disappeare.

Kevin:"And how am I going to do that?"

Jessica:" Follow Jay and get him alone, pour this in his drink. Kidnap him and send him to this address. I'll take it from there."

Kevin:"What are you going to do to him?"

Jessica:"Don't worry about that. You want to be free right?"

Kevin:"You promise if I do this I'll be free?"

Jessica:"Yes dumbass! Now let's watch this date. Oh and here is the stuff. You have until Friday."

Kevin snatches . Jessica evil smiles.

Jessica:"He is going to regret meeting him."
She says as she eats a gummy worm.
