MOVING ON/NEW BEGINNINGS

T knocks on Jay's door and she's crying. Jay opens the door and gives T a hug. They both walk inside and head towards the couch. 

Jay: "Why are you crying?"

T: "Eli was talking to this other girl while we were supposed to be on a date."

Jay: "What does she look like?"

T: "I took a picture of that bitch."

T shows a picture of Jazmine.

Jay: "You should send that picture to people search so you can find her social media."

T: "Bump her social media I want her address."

Jay:"don't you think your overreacting?"

T:"No I wanna beat her ass for trying to take my man."

Jay:"At least you have a man. I just lost mines."

T:"What happened?"

Jay:"He was texting his ex and he lied about it. I thought he was over her but I was wrong. Thats the last time I'm giving my heart to someone."

T:" Why are you lying to yourself? You still love him but maybe now wasn't the right time for a relationship."

Jay:"Like you and Eli. I mean I didn't want to say anything but I always felt like you were giving more in the relationship then he was."

T:"I guess your right. Why fight for someone who would leave the first chance a girl gives him attention?"

Jay:"So what are you going to do?"

T:"I think I'll break it off. We haven't been seeing eye to eye for a while and maybe we need a break."

Jay:"Just think it over-"

T:"Like you did with Cardo?? I know what I want. I cant be with Eli anymore. But at least I have my best friend. Single together."

T pulls out her phone

Hey Eli I enjoyed are time together but I feel that we are not on the same page when it comes to this relationship. I can't do this anymore. I need to be your only focus and I feel that we need to grow more as people before we decide to have a serious relationship. I hope you understand. But its over.

Jay:"Single together."

Jay hugs T.

T:"You need to move on from Cardo. I heard there was this new dating app called college dating. You should create a account."

Jay:"T I just had a bad break up. A new relationship is not what I need right now."

T:"Promise me you will think about it?"

Jay:"Okay. T I think I need time alone. I just need space from everyone to find my voice again. We are still friends its just I need time to myself."

T:"As long as you don't forget about me take all the time you need."

They hug.

Cardo/Eli's Apartment

Eli:"We both get dumped on the same day. Man we stuck at relationships."

Cardo:"I don't know why I didn't tell Jay about Jessica. Now he is never going to forgive me."

Eli:"Jessica? What did she do this time?"

Cardo:"Me and Jaylin were having a date and she has contacted me asking if I could come and visit her."

Eli:"Well are you?"

Cardo:"Dude I have no choice. It's not like me and Jay are together anymore. Plus she destroyed my relationship with Jay I need to make sure she's gone for good."

Eli:"I feel like you messed that up on your own. But go see Jessica she may want closure."

Cardo:"Probably so. Why did you and T break up?"

Eli:"This girl names Jazmine came up to me and gave me her number. T saw and it didn't go well from there."

Cardo:"Wait for Jazmine? As in Jazmine who is Jessica's cousin?"

Eli: "They are related?  I didn't know Jessica had a cousin who lived near here."

Cardo: "Just be careful with her, we don't know her intentions."

Eli: "Damn that's tough."

Cardo: "Both single.  I might as well see Jess tomorrow to get it out the way."

Eli: "Don't act like your not happy to see her."

Cardo gets up to leave.

The Next Day

CRAZY ARE US

Person:"Name please"

Cardo:"Cardo"

Person:"She is expecting you in room one."

ROOM ONE

Jessica:"Baby you showed up?"

Cardo:"I'm not your baby. Why did you call me here?"

Jessica:"I don't know why did you come?"

Cardo:"To let you go and get closure."

Jessica:"Aww that's sad I thought you wanted to get back together?"

Cardo:"That's not what you said on the phone but your ugly to me now. I just came to hear you out. This cost me my relationship."

Jessica:"A baby could have seen that break up coming. You kept this from him didn't you."

Cardo:"Yes but-"

Jessica:"That's because a part of you still feels for me."

Cardo:"No I was afraid of what he would say and now I messed everything up."

Jessica:"Forget about him and get back together with me, its only right."

Cardo:"Why am I here Jessica?"

Jessica:"Fine I miss you okay? And from the sounds of it your over me but hear me out. I know I hurt you by cheating and you were my first love.  I am truly sorry. I am trying to get help I feel that this sickness makes me do things I shouldn't and I can't control it. But I'm trying. Can you forgive me?"

Cardo:"Until I get my boyfriend back no. This was a mistake bye Jessica. Don't contact me again."

This is what Cardo truly needed to move on but he had already lost the most important thing to him and it hurts.

Cardo walks out and bumps into Jazmine.

Jasmine:"Cardo. What are you doing here?"

Cardo:"Just clearing up things with your cousin."
He walks out on her.

Jasmine enters the room.

Jas:"What was Cardo doing here?"

Jes:"don't worry about that. Did you meet Eli?"

Jas:"Yes."

Jes:"Is he still together with his girlfriend?"

Jas:"I don't know."

Jes:"You need to make him yours. If I can't be happy no one will. I want you to make Eli fall in love with you and then break his heart so they know how I feel."

Jas:"Didn't you cheat?"

Jes:"don't forget that I got your nudes off the internet. don't try me. Now do what I say."

Jas leaves.

Jes:"I always have to do everything myself."
