My dad called the hospital, and I don't know why but they didn't tell us anything about what was going on, but instead just told us that we could call my mom and talk to her instead 😑😂

She's still have trouble talking, but at least she's being taken care of and observed. We didn't want to bombard her with questions or make her talk too much since she was struggling so much, but I think she said that she had a mini stroke (or a TIA)

Well, I'm hoping it was only a mini stroke, but I at least know that it was some kind of stroke

We don't know why yet, but I've been reading about strokes, and it could have to do with the fact that my mom's cholesterol has been high. I'm just praying that's the only reason

That's all we know for now. They'll be doing some more tests tomorrow, so hopefully we can hear a little more about what's going on

And hopefully the weather isn't too bad so we can see her... It's supposed to snow all night and all day tomorrow, and if the road isn't plowed, we won't be able to leave

I feel a lot better after talking with my dad and Hannah though. My aunt had a pretty bad stroke a year or two ago and she's perfectly fine now, so surely my mom will be ok after a mini stroke

So the three of us had hot chocolate and watched some Sherlock Holmes. I made sure to keep my dad company for as long as possible, I really didn't want him to be alone

But yeah, hopefully everything will be alright and my mom will be better in a few days. The only thing I can really do at the moment is take care of my dad and my sister
