TART The Sequel [TART 3]

Confusion & SUM

I talked with the guidance counselor yesterday, and she actually gave me an idea that hadn't even crossed my mind before (so now I'm even MORE confused and stressed lol)

She was asking me about my interests and hobbies and what I can see myself working as and so on, and I told her that art is my passion and that I really can't see myself working as anything other than a self-employed artist

So she suggested that I take a school called "art, design and architecture"

The only art-related school in town is "design and crafts" which is mainly about flowers, hair and design which doesn't interest me at all - but this school is actually about art! She isn't sure if I have to start from year 1 or if I can jump into the second year yet though, but even if I have to take the first year, I don't really mind >_<

The only problem is that the closest art, design & architecture schools are in Trondheim, which is two hours away from my home

Meaning I will have to move out ;-; I don't know if I'm ready or if I can even afford it

What if that's gonna cut into my college money?? >_<

It's a little late in the game to be making a decision like this though, I need to apply for a school by March 1st or 2nd T_T

So yeah, I actually really want to go to the art school instead, but I don't know if I'm gonna be able to, seeing as I haven't even THOUGHT about the possibility of moving out this year and this idea kinda feels like a train that just rammed into me, like I didn't get any time to process it at all

At least I have almost a month to decide >_<

Do you guys remember SUM? I talked about it last year and the year before that, and it's when some classes start up some student businesses and you can win different prizes for things like best logo, best service, etc

The different high school classes had to join in as well, but we all had to market for our class :/ (so I had to market for the health class)

I spent pretty much the whole time at the design class' booth because T and another friend of mine was there and it was interesting to watch them paint :D

So I stood there for a while, and their teacher suddenly tells me to sit down next to them and paint too

I wasn't sure if she was serious or not lol so I just kept standing there and then I walked a bit around with T, and then the teacher says it to me again and gets me a chair and everything

So I got to paint with the design class lmao

Five minutes into the painting and I already had paint all over my hands - which was more than the friend next to me who had been painting for an hour or two lmao

I'm a messy artist >_<

I spent extremely little time on that painting lmao, probably only 15 or 20 minutes on it XD It was also difficult because they had little to no white paint so I had a very limited color selection

Also, I only had this really big brush so the trees look a little weird and the stars are a little big but I couldn't get them any smaller >_< I STRUGGLED SO LONG WITH THAT MOON THOUGH-

While I was sitting there, a lady walked up to me and asked me if I was the one who had joined in on UKM last year with my anime drawings

I said yeah, and she said that she worked for one of the newspapers in town and wanted to do a story on me >w<

I FELT SO BAD THOUGH because I felt like I was stealing the thunder from the ACTUAL design students T_T

Anywho, I was pretty nervous about SUM today but I had a good time! :D I didn't think I was gonna be painting today lol
