My cold got so much worse TwT

I just hope it goes away by new year ;; I really don't want to start off the decade by being sick 😭😭😭

I was tagged to do this Christmas tag but I have absolutely no energy because of this cold (you know I'm sick when I can't even do a tag lmao), but I'll try to do it soon :D I'll probably try to get to it tonight or tomorrow night 👍

IT'S SO GOOD WTF

IT SPOILERS!!

The book starts off with George dying obviously, and then it goes on to the gay couple who got beat up and when one of them was killed

A good 10 or 20 pages was JUST explaining what went on that night and the interrogation and everything, which was actually pretty nice because they explained sooooo much more than the movie

After that, it starts to stray off from the IT movies. The content has been the same so far, but the order is completely different. Instead of showing us what happened when they were children and when they first encountered IT, it starts showing us the characters as adults, plenty of years after they defeated IT the first time (that's where the second IT movie starts off)

And I kinda like it this way, because if I didn't already know what had happened, it obviously would've been a huge mystery and I've been reading about just how bad that encounter messed all those characters up, so it would've been very interesting to find out why and how

But yeah, there's at least 10 pages dedicated to each character when they get the call to come back to Derry and defeat IT once and for all, and I love it because the author really shows us just how utterly terrified they are - even though they have no memories of what actually went down so many years ago, or what's waiting for them

I wanted to cry last night when I was readying about Stanley, because it was all written more from his wife's point of view, and reading about her finding her husband dead in a bathtub after taking his own life, was so dark and sad ;; I had a weird sad feeling, so reading that just before going to bed wasn't very smart lol

But yeah, I recommend IT to anyone who loves horror stories!! This book is so well written, it really makes you feel what the characters are feeling ;; The scary parts haven't even really started, and I'm already disturbed lol
