Bill had given you a bear it was a regular old teddy bear. It had brown fur, dark eyes and put little ears. It was adorable. At first, you thought it was childish. And you didn't think of the bear much
But the day you lost him to a car accident, was the worst day of your life. He was hit by a drunk driver. Bill was alive for about 5 seconds. Then he passed away.
It was awful. People kept telling you he was in a better place, or he is with god now. It didn't help at all. You wanted him to be here with you. Not up there.
You got home after the funeral and you cried. You cried for hours. And you were about to do something that was gonna be permanent. Until you saw the teddy bear. You looked at it for a few minutes. And smiled.
Bill left you this bear and you remember him saying one thing about it.
"The reason why I'm giving you this bear is that when I die. I don't want you to forget me. And I also don't want you to be sad when I leave the world. "
You cried out of tears of joy. You picked the bear up and held it close to your chest. "I won't forget you, Bill". You said in a whisper
sad and short like a little puppy.
