You couldn't believe what you were hearing. You were hiding behind a wall, eavesdropping on a conversation Bill on his friends were having. Bill said something, you never thought you'd hear.
"When are you gonna leave her, the bet is over." One friend said. Bill chuckled. "Soon, she has NO idea this is fake". He said he and his friends laughed at his words. You cried silently, behind the wall.
You showed yourself. "How could you?" You said. Bill paused and turned around. His friends scurried off.
"No, I didn't mean what I said". Bill said, in worry. You chuckled bitterly. "Liar, you're a liar". People filled the halls and you decided to make it known what he did. "Tell them, Bill! TELL THEM WHAT YOU DID!" You shouted. Bill took a deep breath.
"I used you for money". Bill said. Quietly. "Say it louder!" You said. "I USED YOU FOR MONEY!" He yelled. Everyone began whispering to each other. Bill felt ashamed, and to be honest. He loved you.
He wanted to stay with you. He didn't care for money anymore. He wanted you. But of course, this had to end up like this.
"I'm sorry, I really wanted to be in this relationship with you, but I needed the money! My mother doesn't have much time to live, she needs a kidney transplant. And I'm willing to give her one of mine". Bill explained.
You felt sorry for him, but you were still hurt, you had to admit it. If it was your mother you would do the same. You were hurt knowing you were a bet, but he said he still loved you.
"Bill, you promise this was for your mother and not just pocket money?" You asked. He nodded his head. He was in tears.
"I promise. I swear I still love you. I swear to god". He said. You walked up to him and wrapped your arms around him.
He hugged back and kissed your forehead. "I won't break your heart again, I swear". He said.

Im really sorry to the person who requested this, I know it's not long like some of my other chapters. And I'm sorry about it. I swear I love writing its just a lot has been going on in my head. like for starters.
