Chapter 63: Invitation

After all these years I finally achieved it.

Im so happy! So happy that I want to announce it to everyone!

I did it! Now I know Im better than before!

Malalaki ang ngiti kong tinuturo ang pangalan kong naka-post sa board.

Ako ang pinakaunang nakapasa sa board exam.

FUCKING FIRST! UNBELIEVABLE!

I am now a license lawyer for God's Permit.

" Felicidades (congratulation) Girl! You came at first. Now we have our lawyer. Nice one." Bati ni Lia.

"Now I will prove them wrong, those bitches. I'm ready to take their spine out of their body." Nakangiting tugon ko.

Napatawa nalang siya.

"Just let them be, they got what they deserve. Such a loser. Serves them right." She giggled looking at the girls sitting at a bench with an upset face.

Pano ba naman ang lakas lakas ng loob nilang maging lawyer ni hindi pa kaya ng utak nila. Such a trash.

"Just a small chitchat. Wanna come?" Aya ko sa kanya at dumiretso sa mga babaeng malungkot na nakaupo.

"Tsk tsk tsk tsk." Umiling ako showing pity at them.

" Qué quieres (what do you want) bitch?" Tanong ni Trix leader nila.

"So sad, you didnt pass. What will your parent would say after knowing that you didnt pass? Well its not shocking after all, all you did is to flirt around. You didnt take your study seriously not like me." Pang-iinis ko sa kanila.

Matagal ko na itong gustong gawin sa kanila. Trix's group have been bullying me since I enter this University well not quite cause when I reach 3rd year college I joined in a group, a group with Lia wherein I am their leader. Unlike them we take our study seriously and the others fall in line and Im talking about parties, clubs, boys well except me I exclude boys in my life.

"Tsk. Dont lift yourself too high bitch, your still the loser for us." Matapang na tugon sa akin nung isang kasama niya.

"Loser? Quién (who)? Me? Did you look yourself at a mirror? Cause if you dont better look at one so that you will realize whos the real loser." Mataray kong tugon sa kanya.

"Are you finished? Remember we'll became a lawyer and take a revange on you. Better run now." Pananakot ni Trix.

"You sure? Ok then better do it fast before I get older. Im done wasting my time on you bitches. You're not worth my time anymore. Goodbye losers." I replied and left them.

"Woah nice one. That's Jenniah! You really are a bitch." Puri sa akin ni Lia.

Sinalubong namin yung mga kaibigan namin, actually in our group we have 4 member; (Me, Lia, Amie, and Gabby) ako lang ang kumuha ng Law and they are all now a liscence teacher.

"Hey what did you do to them they look angry?" Salubong ni Amie sa amin.

"Well Jenniah just teached them a lesson." Sagot naman ni Lia sa kanila.

"You go girl. Congrats Attorney Jenniah Dumlao. When I get caught be my lawyer ok." Pagbibiro ni Gabby.

"Sure. I wont let you down. Hahaha." Pagsakay ko sa trip niya.

"So wheres the celebration?" Tanong naman ni Amie. Should there be a celebration?

"I dont know. We cant go at my house my maids will call my parents and I dont want that to happened." Tugon ko.

"Lets go in my house then, we can party there. Since my parents are out of town and I will also celebrate our 6th monthsary with Joshua. It will be a double party." Suggestion ni Gabby.

"Great I like it." Sang-ayon ko.

"Ok see you at 9 then. We will invite hot hunks for you." She said whispering the last sentence.

"Gabby, you all know that I dont like guys. Invite them for yourselves." Pagtanggi ko.

"Come'on Jenniah. There are so many guys having a crush on you. Why not try going out with them? Just try nothing will happen." Pamimilit ni Gabby holding my hands.

"I'd rather die that to date a guy. I eliminated them in my life long time ago. And I dont have any plans on bringing them back." Tugon ko.

"Whether you like it or not we will invite all the hot hunks. I just said that to inform you for you to choose the sexiest party dress you have." She exclaimed, kahit kailan talaga this girl never listen to anybody.

"Yeah yeah whatever." Tugon ko to stop her.

Umalis na sila at naiwan ako mag-isa.

"Hey Jenniah nice job on passing." Bati ni KM na nakapamulsa sa gilid ko.

Nginitian ko lang ito at nilapitan.

"You can now call me Attorney Dumlao, Engineer Dumlao." Pagmamalaki ko sa kanya.

"Ikaw talaga. Hey I heared your friend will be having a party. Am I invited?" Tanong niya.

"Ofcourse. You're invited as my handsome primo (cousin) plus my guardian." Tugon ko.

"Uwi na tayo para makapagpahinga ka na at para may lakas ka mamaya." Aya niya.

"You really are fluent in Tagalog now. Do you have any plan going in the Phil.?" Tanong ko. Simula noong tinuruan ko puro tagalog nalang yung pakikipag-usap niya sa akin. Kahit nga si Tito eh nagulat noong nagsalita siya ng tagalog.

"No, not really. Come'on." Aya niya at isinakay niya ako sa sasakyan niya.

After 5 years dalawang beses palang bumisita sila Mama at Papa sa akin. Noong naayos yung problema sa Pilipinas dumiretso sila sa London at bumalik ulit sa Pilipinas. And the time they visited me is on my graduation.

Im not angry to them cause I understand their reason.

Umuwi na kami at nagpahinga na ako. Ready for the night.

[Ding! Dong!] Dinig kong tugon ng door bell. Bumukas ang pinto at maya-maya din ay sumara ito.

Then after that I heared a knock on my room.

"Jenniah, a package came, para daw sayo, its from Philippines." Pagpapaalam ni Tita Roxanne sa akin.

I opened the door at kinuha yung isang medium size na kahon na buhat-buhat niya.

I closed the door.  At dumiretso sa kama.

Its from Sir Gerold... bakit niya ako papadalhan? Is this why he ask my address the last time we chat?

Binuksan ko yung kahon, and look at inside, may isang invitation in the color of Lavander at may isang dress meron ding letter na naka-attatched sa invitation.

         How are you? Hindi ko na papahabain pa ito, ikakasal na ako next, next, week on the 3rd week of the month. At kinuha kita na bridesmaid namin. Sana pumayag ka. And dumalo sa kasal ko. Isa ka sa paborito kong student eh. Sayang nga at umalis ka na. So punta ka ah. Hihintayin kita.]

What? Ako bridesmaid?

So means uuwi ako sa Pilipinas?

Nice, ngayon meron na akong dahilan para bumalik. At tamang tama, maayos na ako. At ibang-iba na ako.

Wait for me Philippines, babalik na si Jenniah, hindi dahil gusto kong maghiganti.

Wala sa intensiyon ko ang gumanti, all I want is to show them all that I have change, na iba na ang Jenniah na ito.
