"Merle!" Daryl yelled. "Merle, get your ugly ass out here!"
"Crap." I heard Rick mutter.
We followed the group out of the woods and into the middle of camp, and dreaded what we knew was about to happen.
"Where's Merle?" Daryl looked around and asked.
"Listen Daryl," Rick said, and we saw Daryl getting suspicious. "Merle was out of control. He beat up T-Dog and punched me and Kelley. I had no other choice... I handcuffed him to the roof."
"Huh?! Now, who are you?" Daryl yelled.
"Rick Grimes." He said.
"Rick Grimes? So you handcuffed my brother to a roof and just left him there!?" Daryl yelled.
Rick nodded and T-Dog admitted that he dropped the key. And that's when Daryl flipped out. He ran after T-Dog and Rick pushed him back. Daryl then whipped out a knife and pointed it at everyone. Rick put his hands up and Daryl was focused on him.
"Put the knife down." Rick said calmly. "We can talk about this."
I then snuck behind Daryl while he was distracted and grabbed his wrist, squeezing on a pressure point that would make him drop the knife. Daryl yelled in pain and looked over at me and swung around the knife. It managed to cut my arm, but I squeezed his wrist harder and he dropped the knife. Shane ran up and kicked it away and Daryl fell to the ground. Shane grabbed him and put him in a headlock. Rick walked up and started talking to him and trying to calm him down. I walked over and picked up Daryl's knife and sheathed it away with mine. I backed away because I felt like I did my job, and then Andrea pulled me away into the RV to clean up my wound. We sat down at the table and she pulled out a first aid kit.
"You know I'm fine right? It's really not that bad." I said to her.
"I know. I just want to help." She said.
"Thanks."
"I've never seen anyone to that. You kicked his ass, twice, in one day." She laughed, and so did I. "I didn't think anyone would stand up to him, especially a woman."
"He doesn't scare me. I've seen worse men." I said.
Before Andrea could begin to question me, we heard Daryl start yelling and we both left the RV.
"Come on!" Daryl yelled. "I'm getting my brother back. Let's go, we're losing daylight!"
Rick, Glenn, Daryl, and T-Dog all got in a car and we watched them leave camp. Now all we had to do it wait, and prepare for the worst.

It's been a couple days since the guys left to go get Merle. We were all sitting around the fire having dinner and talking. I could see Shane was on edge since they were not back, and he noticed so was I. Amy got up and Andrea grabbed her hand.
"Where are you going?" She asked.
"To take a pee." Amy whispered. "Jeez, no one can be discrete around here."
We all laughed and Andrea let go of her hand. We continued eating and a few minutes later we heard Amy's voice call to us.
"We're out of toilet paper!" Amy called.
All was silent and then out of nowhere we heard screaming. We turned around and saw that a walker was biting Amy's arm, and then another came out and bit her neck.
"No!!! Amy!!" Andrea cried and ran up to her.
She shot the walkers and fell to her sister's side. We were all in shock until more walkers popped out of the forest and we had to act fast.
"Get the women and kids to the RV." Shane yelled and shot at the walkers.
Bud started barking and I commanded him to attack the walkers. He tackled them and I killed them. Walkers were flooding the camp and we were getting surrounded. Finally Rick and the group showed up with guns and started shooting all the walkers.
All we heard was gunfire, screams, and moans.
I saw Daryl fighting a walker but one was sneaking up behind him. Bud ran over and tackled the walker behind him. I shot the one he was fighting and Daryl stared at me. I shot the one Bud was tackling and called him back to me. Daryl stared at me and I nodded at him. He nodded back and ran past me to help finish off the rest of the dead.
"Come on Bud." I said.
The gunfire suddenly seized and there was no more moans or groans coming from the dead. The sun was coming up and we could see the destruction in the light. There were bodies everywhere, some human and the rest walkers. We all looked over at Andrea who was sitting by Amy, who was now dead but not yet turned.
Rick and Shane walked up to her but she pulled out her gun and aimed at them.
She was not ready to let go. I understood what that felt like. Myself, Rick, Shane, Glenn, and Daryl stood in a group to discuss what to do next.
"We need to do something about her." Shane said. "She's going to turn any minute now."
"What are you going to do? Hold Andrea down and have her watch you kill her sister?" I asked.
"If we have to." He said.
"No." I said sternly and they looked at me confused. "Do you know what it's like to kill your family... you're sister?" I said and they could hear the pain in my voice.
They all shook their heads no.
"Then let her grieve. Let her do this. You guys don't have the right to take that away from her." I said.
They all nodded and changed the subject.
"We need to find a new camp. This place isn't safe anymore." Rick said.
"What about...?" Glenn stared and then went silent.
"What?" We asked.
"The CDC? They have to be safe. Working on a cure at least. They may be the last place standing." He said.
"No, no, no. We need to go to Fort Benning. That's the closest military base. It's gotta be locked down and safe." Shane said.
"The CDC is closer than the base. We should go there." Rick said.
"I can agree to that." Me, Glenn, T-Dog, and Daryl said.
There was a gunshot behind us and we noticed that Andrea finally shot Amy. She sat there for a minute and then stood up and walked away.

A few days passed and we took the time to bury our dead and gather our things. We decided we were going to the CDC. It was the best option at the moment and no one objected, well except Shane.
Early one morning we loaded up the cars and RV and left the rock quarry. We began our mission to find out the truth, to find a cure, and to finally feel safe.
