Chapter 7: I will love you unconditionally

(Katy's POV)
Michelle and I have been just sitting with Holly for the last hour and Michelle is telling me some of her favourite memories of her and Holly.

It's really nice to hear some memories of Holly, I haven't experienced any of them. So now I know a bit more about Holly than I use to.

Holly's nurse Audrey walk in and just admires us watching Holly.

"I'm sorry Katy and Michelle but visiting hours are over so you need to go, but you can sit outside her room of you like. Katy you need to go back into your room to rest" Audrey says

"Okay, can you just let us say goodbye" I say with a smile

"Okay I'll just give you two a minute" Audrey says before she walks out of the room

I wheel my wheel chair back so Michelle can say goodbye to Holly. She whispers something into her ears, to quiet for even a mouse to hear. Michelle then kisses Holly forehead and then she walks past me and out of the room.

I look at Michelle through the window she just sits quietly on a chair looking at her daughter. Praying for the best outcome, like we all are.

I wheel myself up to Holly's bed and I reach out for her hand and I squeeze it tightly.

"Come on Holly we need you, Michelle needs you but I need you. If you died I would never forgive myself. Your the key to my heart and I will love you unconditionally. Without you I'm nothing, I'm just a famous pop-star who has a broken heart" I start choking on my tears and I cough until I can breathe again

I start singing unconditionally hoping that Holly will hear.

I finish the song still squeezing Holly's hand. I kiss her temple and then leg go of Holly's hand.

"I will love you unconditionally and no one will stop me from believing that" I say and I start wheeling myself out of Holly's room

I open the door and Michelle gets up from her seat. She rubs her eyes, trying to pretend that she hasn't been crying.

"Come on let's go Katy, you need some rest" Michelle says as she pushes my wheel chair to my room

Once we get to my room I look inside and see that my whole family are still here. It's now 9:00 and everybody is rubbing there eyes trying to stay awake.
