My Tears, My Sadness

92 9 2

The somnolent tears cascade from my eyes,

My body gives up to these tears,

Sleep is the only way to escape- Is what these somnolent tears whisper,

They sound in my ear -The thoughts of sleep fill my head,

Like a parasite-Taking over

These drug like tears course their way through my veins

Once they reach my heart- relaxation takes over,

And the pain dissipates

It’s as if I have been hypnotized

Control over my body is lost,

And I slip into a coma- like state,

Filled with nightmares

And dreams that only hope can bring.
