The game begins and it's Asahi's turn to serve.

"Asahi-san, nice serve!" You shouted.

Asahi threw up the ball and did a jump serve— that one skill he had been polishing over and over during camp. The ball landed on the other side of the court and bounced off before any of the Ohgi Minami members even moved.

"All right!" You screamed and punched the air with both your fists.

The other shouted as well for the first point that came from a service ace by the ace himself.

'Ah, I'm so excited.'

Ohgi Minami [11-16] Karasuno

Spike after another, Karasuno was able to get points and ended up leading by five points.

As one of their members went in for the spike— with Kei and Tobio blocking him, you saw his hand shift a little for a feint. You were about to move ahead to prepare to save it but Daichi, who was closer to the net, moved faster and received the ball.

"Daichi-san, nice!" You shouted.

And after that, the team just continued to score points.

'Everyone is performing at a higher level than we ever had before,' You thought to yourself.

It was obvious that Karasuno had improved immensely compared to the previous tournament.

'Ah, I haven't even used what I kept practicing during the camp.'

Ohgi Minami [16-23] Karasuno

You wouldn't say that it was an easy game. The other team had also fought well, but there was something that lacked in them. Determination.

"Kageyama, nice serve!" You shouted as Tobio prepared to serve.

Tobio, as always, did a jump serve which bounced off the arms of one of the members from Ohgi Minami. Once the point was called, Tobio pumped his fist and shouted.

"Nice, Kageyama!" You exclaimed.

When Tobio did another serve, the ball was received. The setter gave it to their captain who evaded the block that Shouyou and Daichi did. The ball headed towards the center, where you were.

You received the ball successfully and as it made its way towards Tobio, Shouyou dashes towards the other side of the court and spiked.

"All right!" the team shouted as the point was given.

The first set was done.

You and the rest of the team headed towards the benches.

"Shin!" Yu shouted before repeatedly patting you on the back. "Nice job!"

"Of course," You said, grinning at him. "I'm your kouhai after all."

"I'm so proud of my kouhai!" Yu exclaimed before hugging you tight.

"N-Noya-senpai! I c-can't breathe!" You tried to say.

"Can't hear you," Yu said. "Too busy being proud."
