You looked up and sighed at the sight of the house before opening the door.
"Tadaima," You said, looking down while removing your shoes.
You heard footsteps that sounded like someone was running but you were too bummed out to even check who it was. So when somebody jumped on you to hug you, you almost lost your balance.
"Six!" the person said, hugging you tighter.
"Oh geez!" You exclaimed as you finally fell to your butt, dragging down the person with you.
You groaned first before opening your eyes— they closed as you braced for impact— and blinked multiple times as you looked at whoever jumped on you. Once you realized who it was, you were a little surprised.
It was Agent 508 or Five— as you call her. She was the second tallest from your group— 169.4 cm— which didn't help when she tackled you.
"You look a little different," You said, looking at her hair.
"I got the idea from Seven," Five said, holding a lock of her black hair that she dyed turquoise halfway up from the ends.
Five stood up and held out her hand for you to take.
"Nah. I'm fine," You said, standing up. "Wait. If you're here then...."
"Hey Six," said the person you were just talking about.
You looked towards the dining room and saw her walk from the dining room.
Agent 459, or Four, looked at you with a smirk. Who Maki is to you is who Four is to Five. The two were inseparable and worked best with each other and although Four was the smallest one from the group— she was 158.6 cm, she had one of the most commanding personalities within the branch.
"You got a hair change too?" You asked, noticing how shorter her blond hair was compared to the last time you saw her.
"Five got me to do it."
Four was also a big softie towards Five, much like how Maki was towards you.
"Since when were the two of you here?" You asked.
"Since last night," Four answered.
"Where's Seven?"
"In there," Four said, gesturing to the dining room.
You nodded and smiled at the blonde before walking towards the dining room. Once you stepped in, you saw Seven sitting on the chair while eating Spam Onigirazu— his favorite— that you guess Maeko had prepared for him even if Seven wasn't included in the agents she was supposed to look over.
In front of him sat Hayato, your foster father. You rarely had time to sit and talk with him but you knew he was an extremely sweet husband to Maeko. He had dark green hair that reminded you of Tadashi's and light brown eyes that looked like a perfect mix of brewed coffee and milk.
"Hi," You said, smiling towards them.
"Welcome home," Hayato said, smiling back at you.
Seven just waved happily at you while still eating spam.
"You're back," Maeko said, walking from the kitchen,
"Sorry for the sudden increase in agents occupying your house," You said, bowing a little.
"It's okay," Maeko said, taking a sit. "How are you handling it?"
It didn't take much for you to figure that she was talking about Maki.
"I'm doing just fine," You said, your smile turning to a sad one.
"I bet you're hungry," Maeko said. "Why not eat first before you start looking for him again?"
You nodded. You grabbed a chair and pulled it back before sitting on it.

"You got this last night?" You asked, one of your hands on the to rail and the other on your table— where Seven was working at for now.
"Yeah," Seven said, facing his laptop. "Just a minute after I hung up on you."
"What's it about?"
"It was a specific file from our agency database," Seven answered. "Data on the agents that used to exist."
"Used to?" You asked.
"You know, the records the were required to be removed from the public because we, technically, are supposed to be ghosts."
"And?"
"Halfway through I lost contact with it. I think they realized that I was trying to copy it."
"Did you get the rest of the file?"
"Of course," Seven said looking at you with a grin.
You smiled at the boy.
"I knew you're the best," You said, ruffling his hair.
"Say it again," Seven said, his grin widening.
"Show it to me first," You said.
"About that," Seven said, looking at his laptop again. "Well, even the copied file is still in some sort of code to protect the information. Makes sense, honestly."
"Have you started decoding it?" You asked.
"What do you think I was doing the whole night?"
"Have you slept?"
"Yes, for an hour. Not a straight hour though," Seven answered.
You looked at him with a worried expression. The blue-haired boy glanced at you to confirm his guess, and he was right.
"Don't look at me like that," Seven said. "As if you were able to sleep soundly last night while knowing Three is missing."
You bit your lip, a little frustrated. He was right. You did sleep but it wasn't as pleasant as how you often do,
"I got a hold of Three, by the way. Well, he called me," You said.
"I know," Seven said, not looking at you.
"You do?"
"Other than the file, I also haven't stopped trying to locate him. I'm not the type to give up," Seven said. "Seeing how his location suddenly pinged while contacting someone and it wasn't me, Four, or Five, that only led to the conclusion that you were the one he was contacting."
"And where is he?"
"The agency."
"But T said-"
"I meant the main one," Seven said, looking at you. "The one in Tokyo."
"How did he end up there?" You asked.
"I don't know," Seven said, shaking his head, "Speaking of T, I couldn't contact her as well."
"Me too," You said. "Not after our last call."
You looked towards Four and Five who were sitting on your bed with their legs crossed.
"Why did T send you two anyway?" You asked.
"She told us that you two needed as much help as possible," Four answered.
"Do you know where she is?"
Four just shook her head as a response.
"We weren't able to contact her as well," Five said, looking at you. "She did tell us something though."
"Was it about not trusting the agency?" You asked.
Five nodded.
"I got that too," You said.
