You walked behind him with a slower pace.

'Takayama. Where are you heading to?'

Maki had found out that Orochi went out during the same time and walked down the same road during specific days. It wasn't easy figuring this out considering how the agency had basically made it impossible to dig any deeper when it came to the suspects unless it was Shouyou.

Your task was to find out where he ends up because for some reason, Maki always ends up losing him in the middle of following him. It wasn't easy to follow him around without getting caught since he knew what Maki looked like.

That's why right now, you were dressed completely different to how Orochi typically sees you.

You had a long wig with a different color from your actual hair and some colored contacts that were also different from your actual eye colors. As for your clothes, you had something similar to what you wore to the carnival— a plain navy blue skirt that had pockets with black leggings under it and black doll shoes— but with just a cream sweater for the top this time.

"Shit," You said as you realized that the red-haired boy suddenly disappeared into the crowd. "What the-"

Once you found a glimpse of red hair, your eyes widened a little. He was looking at you.

You immediately looked away and pretended to look for someone else. After seeing a familiar face, you didn't hesitate to run towards him.

"Tsukishima!" You shouted, running to the blond. "There you are."

Kei looked at you with furrowed eyebrows and said, "Sorry. Who are you?"

You pouted before smiling at him with your two hands— wrists against each other— under your chin.

"I still don't know you," the blond said, bluntly.

"How dare you not recognize me?" You said scrunching your nose. "I shouldn't have gotten you that dinosaur."

"[Name]?" Kei asked.

"The one and only," You said, clicking your tongue as you pointed finger guns at him.

"What is this?" the blond asked, looking at you. "What were you doing?"

"I was just walking around," You said, looking down.

"Yeah, right," Kei said, walking away.

"I really was!" You said, catching up to him."I noticed that this time of the day is the perfect time to walk around."

"Sure," Kei said, not believing you at all.

"Let me get on the phone real quick," You said, bringing out your personal phone from your skirt.

"I don't care."

You sent a playful glare towards the blond before looking back at your phone and dialing a number while walking.

"Hey idiot," You said the moment you hear the other line get picked up.

"Who are you calling idiot?" Maki said.

You didn't bother answering his question.

"I lost the map you lent me earlier."

Which meant you lost track of Orochi.

"How could you lose something that big?!" the black-haired boy asked.

"The wind blew," You said, telling him indirectly that Orochi looked at you.

You could hear Maki sigh.

"Where did you last see it?" he asked.

"Around the corner," You said.
