"It was nice seeing you," You said to the Nekoma setter.
"Same here," Kenma replied.
"Bye Kenma! See you next week!" You said, waving goodbye before running to the bus.
Before stepping inside, you glanced at Kenma and saw him wave a little at you, making you grin. You adjusted the strap of the bag as you stepped inside the bus.
"Where should I sit this time?" You mumbled to yourself.
Since the bus you were using had those one-seaters on the side, that's where you decided to sit. From across you, Shouyou took the window seat.
You just smiled at the orange-haired boy before looking outside again. Soon enough, the bus started moving and without realizing it, you've been on the road for about two hours already. The sun was even starting to go down.
'We still have classes but by the next week, vacation will start. Which means one thing. The next away games. One whole week of it, huh? I can't wait.'

"Shin. Shin."
You opened your eyes and squinted a little as you looked up to see Shouyou.
"Have we arrived?" You asked, your eyes still half-open.
"Mm," he replied, nodding a little.
"Okay. Thanks," You said, standing up and grabbing your bag from the back row seats of the bus.
Once everyone was out, you all formed a little group beside the bus. Since the trip was long, the team ended up arriving at Karasuno around night already.
"All right, everyone. Good work," Ittetsu said.
"Thank you!" said the team.
"So, as I mentioned, tomorrow there will be inspections in the gym so there'll be no club activities," the club advisor continued. "You've all gone a long time without a break so please enjoy it. Alright, you can all go."
"Thank you again!" Daichi said with a bow which the team soon followed. "To those who will drop off some of their things in the club room, come with me."
"Okay!"
You went with Daichi because you were going to leave your knee pads there so you wouldn't have to carry them the next time the team practices. Also, you might have left a towel behind from the last time so you wanted to make sure you didn't.
While fixing your things, you heard Shouyou ask Tobio to give him a toss. Once you heard that, you shook your head a little while also chuckling softly. You knew there was no point in telling him not to so you let them be.
Those two were hard to stop when it came to volleyball. If them finding other means to go to Tokyo even after being required to take supplementary exa,s wasn't proof enough then you didn't know what could be.
"These two, honestly," You mumbled to yourself as you zipped your bag.
You grabbed your bag by the strap and walked out of the room.
"I'm leaving," You said.
"Take care!" You heard Daichi say.
You hummed a little as you went down the stairs.
"Oh, Tanaka-san!" You said, once you reached the ground.
"What is it, [Last Name]?" Ryunosuke asked.
"I thought you left already," You said.
"I did but I went back because I dropped my keys."
"Ah," You said, nodding. "You wanna walk together then? At least until the bottom of the hill?"
"Sure, why not!" Ryunosuke said, giving you a thumbs up.
You two started walking— Ryunosuke even started to whistle. However, you started to look around when you heard some wailing then realized it was Hitoka who had just slammed into you.
Her face was pale and her words were all mushed up.
"[L-L-Last Name]-shan!"
'Shan?'
"They're gonna die! They're gonna die!" Hitoka said.
"Who?!" You asked, looking around to spot anyone suspicious.
"H-Hinata-san! K-Kageyama-san!"
"Those two," You said through your grit teeth. "Tanaka-san! Please calm down Yachi-san! Thanks!"
Without hearing a word from Ryunosuke, you started running towards the gym and heard the loud shouting from the two?
"No! That's not it! It was perfect! It was spot-on! And yet, it was stopped!"
You knew without a doubt that was Shouyou talking just from how high pitched the voice was.
'I swear if they're at each other's throat I will-'
"If I don't get better, it's not going to work on stronger opponents either!" Shouyou continued to shout.
You stepped inside the gym and saw that they were indeed at each other's throats. Tobio was holding Shouyou by his shirt while Shouyou had one hand on Tobio's shirt and another squeezing his face.
"Hey, you two!" You shouted while running towards them. "Quit it!"
You punched both of them on their faces to separate them. They ended up falling to the floor so they had to look up to see you who was staring down at them with an angry expression.
"What the hell do you think you two are doing?!" You shouted at them. "You have to shout to get your point across, huh?! Is this getting through you, huh?! Or do I need to hold you two by your shirts just so you can understand me?!"
Other than them never seeing you get mad, they were also a little shaken by how sharp your stare was towards them.
"Honestly," You said, sighing while pinching the bridge of your nose. You held out your hands to them. "Come on, stand up and go."
Tobio was the first one to walk away, which didn't surprise you.
"You too, Shouyou," You said. "Yachi-san's a little shaken up so I think it's better if you walk with her. Say sorry to her as well. I'll clean the mess here."
"Shin," Shouyou mumbled.
"Go," You said, placing your hand on his shoulder for a second before removing it.
Shouyou just nodded before walking away. Meanwhile, you sighed as you watched him step out.
'What a mess,' You thought while looking inside the gym and remembering the two fighting.
