"Guys where are we going?" I ask curiously.

My boyfriend Bill is driving, his best friend Stan is sitting in the front.

"We're dropping off Stan first to our friend's house and then I'll be taking you out" Bill replies calmly.

"Yeah but- ugh. Where?" I whine, I'm not good at waiting for surprises.

Bill and Stan glance at each other and laugh, I cross my arms and sulk in the backseat.

5 minutes later we arrive at the house, Bill and I say goodbye to Stan who waves at us as he walks up the path.

I climb over into the front seat and stare at Bill as we drive off.

"Well, are you going to tell me?" I ask in a huff.

"No Y/n, it's a surprise" Bill chuckles.

"But-" I pout.

"No buts. I love you" Bill says to me, he squeezes my hand.

I can't help but smile "I love you too" I reply.

I lay my head back and let the sun hit my face, I close my eyes and fall asleep.

However long later, Bill shakes me.

"Wake up baby" he says softly.

I open my eyes and almost scream in delight.

We're at a drive-in movie theatre, I'd always wanted to go to one but never had the time due to my school schedule.

"But-but how did you know I wanted to visit one?" I ask with wide eyes.

"You told me once in a random conversation, remembered it since" he beams.

I smile brightly, my stomach fills with butterflies.

I lean in close and kiss him passionately, Bill wraps his arms around me.

"Grease! My favourite movie" I squeal excitedly.

Bill chuckles to himself and buys us snacks.

I snuggle up close to him as the movie starts.

"You're the best boyfriend ever" I whisper to him, kissing his cheek.

"And you're the best girlfriend ever" he smiles at me.
