Chapter 80 Moment

"Yes."

Matapang na sagot ko.I used all my courage and bravery to answered him.Namumungay ang mga mata kong tumitig sa mga nangungusap niyang mga mata.

The face of him i knew,the face of him i kept thinking over these years.The face of him that never left my mind even just for a single day.

He's here,he's really here and...

He feels the same way.

The corner of my eyes slowly heated.I pursed my lips to stop the waters from coming out of my eyes.

I have so many questions in my head but i couldn't bring them out.I'm still scared,still scared of him especially right now.

But i want him to see that i'm not the kid he knew and i'm not the same Ambrielle anymore.I want him too see that i've improved and change.

"Jao."My voice broke at tuluyang  niyakap siya.I can feel his hands supported my back and started carressing me.I closed my eyes while crying and i buried my face on his neck,drowning myself on his manly and intoxicating scent.

It's so warm and comforting.

His touch were gentle,opposing his dark and rough features that screams vigor and ruthfulness.He was too gentle na parang nasa paniginip ako at hindi makapaniwalang yakap yakap niya ko.

Kumuyom ang mga kamay kong nakakapit sa polo at vest niyang suot nang buhatin niya ako.I closed my eyes as soon as i felt his hand on my bare legs.

His grip gently squeezed them and carried me over his lap.Nakaupo siya sa kama habang ako naman ay nakapatong sa mga legs niya paharap sa kaniya.

He embraced me back i could feel his breath on my exposed neck.It sent a thousand bolts in my skin enough to make my whole bodysensitive and conscious.

We stayed like that for minutes at hinayaang sulitin ang pagyayakap naming dalawa.Ayokong bumitaw,ayokong humiwalay at ayokong matapos ang sandaling ito.

From the very first day i met him,i dreamt of this kind of moment.Even if it's too impossible to happen,i still hold on to that illusion i made when i was a kid.

I was torn between reality and a daydream during that moment.I still can't believe that the mighty Jasper Ozae Tobito is holding me right now,holding me too close to him.

"Finally you're here now."

He broke the deafening silence between the two of us.I opened my eyes and laid my head on his shoulder.I sniffed as soon as my eyes finally stopped from crying.

"My moon."He continued and i felt a tingling sensation inside my stomach.I smiled widely while hugging him,hindi naman niya ako makikita na nakangiti.

I was smiling like an idiot.

Humigpit ang yakap ko sa kaniya."I thought..hindi na kita makikita."Mahinang sabi ko at nahihiyang pumikit.

"Hmmm??"He let me continue talking.

"I missed you."I finally said and my cheeks heated again.

"I missed you too."

Kumabog ang dibdib ko nang sumagot siya.Gulat  na minulat ko ang mga mata ko at mabilis na humiwalay sa yakap namin.

I looked at him na tumitig sa akin pabalik.Did i heared that right??He said..he said...

"I missed you Ambrielle."He repeated while looking at my face.Oh my god.

Unti unting ngumiti ako sa kaniya ng matamis.His lips rose up and we started talking to each other.

Ang kaba,takot at pagaalinlangan ko tuwing kaharap at kausap siya ay tuluyan ng nawala.

There's this confidence i gained from all his hug and touch earlier.It made me talked to him casually and made more more comfortable than ever.

"I was still young that time."Panimula ko habang titig na titig naman siya sa akin."When i first saw you in your family picture i couldn't get your face out of my head."I chuckled.

"Then why do you avoid my eyes everytime we see each other??"Tanong  naman niya.

"I don't know,maybe i was too intimidated."Kunot noong sagot ko at sabay naming nilingon ang pagbukas ng pinto.

Napakurap si Mama nang makita ang posisyon naming dalawa sa kama.Nagiwas siya ng tingin at pinagkrus ang mga braso.

She cleared her throat at mabilis naman akong umalis sa pagkakapatong sa lap ni Jao.Nakakahiya!!

Nakahinga ako ng maluwag nang hayaan at alalayan niya akong makaupo sa tabi niya.Mabilis na uminit ang pisngi ko sa hiya at kumabog ang dibdib ko nang nahuli kami ni Mama.

"Breakfast is ready."Mama stated and smiled at Jao.Jao stood up at tumingala naman ako sa kaniya.

"I'll wait for you downstairs."

Lumunok ako nang sabihin niya yon ng walang pagaalinlangan kahit nasa harap namin si Mama.Ngumiti ako ng tipid sa kaniya at tinanguan siya bago ito maunang lumabas ng kwarto.

Nilingon ko si Mama na bumuntong hininga at kinamot ang batok."So..."Panimula niya at tila ba hindi alam ang sasabihin sa nakita niya kanina.

I exhaled and calmed myself down bago tumayo sa kama.

"Is that him??"Tuluyang tanong ni Mama sa akin.I pursed my lips and avoided her stares.I slowly nodded like i fully understand her question.

Then i looked at her slowly smile and she nodded."Mag ayos kana,hihintayin ka niya sa baba."She chuckled at lumabas na ng kwarto.

Unti unting ngumiti akong magisa sa loob ng kwarto ko habang sinasara ang pinto.Mabilis akong tumalon sa kama at binaon ang mukha ko sa malambot na unan.

I screamed in happiness at nakangiting pumasok ng banyo.Mabilis akong naligo at naglinis ng katawan.Nagbihis ako sa walk in closet at natagalan pa dahil hindi ko alam kung anong isusuot ko.

Nagsuot nalang ako ng itim na slocks at baby blue na sleeveless polo.I tucked in the layer of the polo at sinuklay paitaas ang itim kong buhok.

Hindi na ganon kahaba ang buhok ko katulad ng dati.Ang bangs na tumatakip sa noo ko ay ngayon ay hanggang kilay na lamang.

I sprayed my peach perfume on my neck and pulses.Nagsuot ako ng puting sapatos at sinabit ang spectacles ko sa polo.

I smiled at the whole body mirror.I scanned myself and tilted my face left and right.I nodded while smiling at myself at kinuha na ang cellphone ko sa kama.

My phone rang at sinagot ko naman ang tawag.

"Good morning my Art director."Inaantok na bungad ni Yuqi sa kabilang linya.I chuckled and opened my camera.

Bumungad sa screen ang inaantok niyang itsura at gulo gulong buhok.Ngumuso siya at kunot noong nagsalita.

"Why naman binuksan mo ang camera?Sapakin kaya kita diyan."Naasar na asik niya sa akin.

Tumawa lang ako habang pababa ng hagdan."Good morning my Pop star."Nakangiting bati ko sa kaniya na unti unting nag-rock and roll sign sa akin.

He grinned."Konting tiis nalang,malapit na ang debut ko."Nagmamalaking sabi niya.

"Galingan mo,fighting."Kumindat ako sa kaniya.
