Chapter 94 Paranoia

I scanned myself in the mirror and tilted my body   sideways.I just wore a casual attire for Balerion's birthday tonight.Then i glanced at the black paper bag in my bed,it's a man perfume.Jao personally suggested it of course,he seems in a good after we kissed in his car.

"What's his name again??"

"Balerion."I answered."Balerion Acevedo"

His eyebrows furrowed and didn't say anything.Malalim siyang nagisip at tumango nalang bago paandarin ang sasakyan.

I wore my spectacles and looked at myself again.I  wore a pair of white adidas shoes and white high ankle socks.A brown cardigan trouser for my bottom and a chain belt.For my top,i wore a baby brown turtleneck long sleeve with dark brown stripes design.The top is not fitted and a bit huge for my body frame but it goes well with my style.

It's a cotton one and it's lightweight,it's also very comfy.I grabbed the paper bag and exited my room.

Bumaba ako ng living room at nakarinig ng mga boses na naguusap.I entered the living room and saw all of them in the sofa.

Armielle is playing games with his psp together with Arsius beside him.While Argust's eyes automatically darted on me and i just smiled a bit.His movement caught everyone's attention that made all of them look at me.

"Ambrielle."Tumayo si Mama kasabay ang isang babae na nakayakap kay Argust.She looked at me with her upturned green eyes and smiled at me.

She has western features and i bet she's a foreigner.Her mid length wavy blond hair perfectly suits her long face.Lumapit naman ako sa kanila para magpakilala.

"Ambrielle this is Tequila."Panimula ni Mama.I smiled at her and i offered my hand."She's Argust's girlfriend."

Girlfriend??

Nilingon ko si Arsius na makahulugang tumingin sa akin.Then i glanced at Argus na seryoso namang tumitig sa akin.He has a girlfriend??Since when??

Tumingin ako kay Tequila at ngumiti.Nagkamayan kaming dalawa at napatitig naman ako sa mga mata niya.

"Nice to meet you Ambrielle."Her matured voice screams classicity and sofistication.Alam na alam mo sa tono ng pananalita niya ay mabait siya at kagalang galang.

"Nice to meet you too."Ngumiti ako sa kaniya at tumingin kay Argust.I gentlt smiled at him at tumingin na kay Mama."Mauuna napo ako."Paalam ko at tumungo bago umalis ng living room.

Huminga ako ng malalim.Now i can rest assured on my step brother's issue.Tila ba nabunutan ako ng tinik sa lalamunan dahil ngayon ay nagka-girl friend na talaga siya.

I chuckled at myself before entering my car.I spent my nights thinking about what he said between us but now i feel okay.

Finally..

I drove my car to Balerion's place.Jao have a personal meeting tonight so he couldn't fetch or drive me but that's okay.He's a business man,a busy person and i understand him.

Sa puting gate pa lang ay maririnig mo na ang party songs na pinatutugtog nila.Ang mga party lights ay naglilikot sa paligid ng malaking bahay.

I parked my car beside the other cars na nasisiguro kong mga bisita niya.The guards opened the gate for me at nakangiting sumalubong ako sa mga workmates ko na nilapitan ako.

"Wow,parang teenager tayo ah."Puna nila sa damit na suot ko.

"Kaka-20 ko lang,wag kayo."Natatawang sabi ko at masayang inaya nila ako sa table nila.Nasa garden kami at punong puno ng tables dito.May catering naman sila pero mas lamang ang iba't ibang alak na makikita mo.

I sat down with my workmates at masayang nagkwentuhan kami.We started drinking after that,lahat sila ay malalakas na inumin ang iniinom.Only i drink a cup of wine,kung tutuusin ay sumisimsim nga lang ako.

Takot na akong malasing dahil sa nangyari nun sa birthday ni Thetis.Hindi ko yata makakalimutan ang kabaliwang ginawa ko sa apartment ni Jao.

Natigil kaming lahat sa pagtatawanan ng lumapit sa amin si Balerion.He's just wearing a khaki short and a navy blue polo.Nakabukas ang tatlong butones nito,exposing his toned and hairy chest.

He waved at me and smiled."You guys having fun?"Nakangiting tanong niya.He seems very happy and delighted.

"Yes sir!!"Masayang sagot ng lahat.I stood up and handed him my gift.His mouth formed an 'O' and accepted my gift.

"You've got good taste."Puri niya nang silipin niya ang laman.I just smiled and shrugged my shoulders."Hihiramin ko muna ang boss niyo."Paalam ni Balerion sa mga kasama namin at nagtatakang lumapit ako sa kaniya.

Inakbayan niya ako at sabay na pumasok kami ng bahay.We entered the living room at naiilang na tumingin ako kay Balerion.Unfamilliar faces looked at me and their eyes darted on Balerion's hand.Marahang inalis ko ang kamay niya bago kami makalapit sa mga ito.

Most of them are guys,at least seven end three women.They're not the same age as me and a bit older than me.They all look good and rich,hindi ko maiwasang manliit sa sarili ko.

"Ambrielle Celestine."Pakilala ni Balerion sa akin."He's the skilled artist i'm talking about."Dagdag pa niya.Mukhang interesado naman sila sa Arts kaya nagtanguan naman silang lahat.

Nakahinga naman ako ng maluwag at nakipag kilala at nakipag kamay sa kanila.Umupo na ang lahat at tumabi naman si Balerion sa akin.

"Is this your first time??"Tanong niya pero hindi ko maintindinhin dahil sa papalakas na sound system.The music is getting hyper and hyper,hinding hindi talaga ako masasanay sa ganitong atmosphere kahit kelan.

"What??"Kunot noong tanong ko."I can't hear you."Dahilan ko at nilapit niya ang mukha niya sa akin.

"Is this your first time going on a party??"He whispered on my ears.I shooked my head to answer."So you're a party people after all??"He sounded amused.

"No,this is just my second time."

Lumayo siya at tumango tango.He then handed me a shot glass.Nagaalinlangan kong tinangapbito at inamoy.Napangiwi ako sa matapang na amoy nito at natatawang pinagmasdan niya ako.

"Try it."Paguudyok niya.Wala naman akong ginawa kundi ang makipag cheers sa kaniya.It's his birthday so i guess it's fine.

"Whoah."Natatawang asik ng mga kasama namin at napapiikit ako ng mariin dahil sa pag guhit nito sa lalamunan ko.

"Let's drink some more Ambrielle."Balerion grinned again and handed me another shot glass.

It was the same weird and disturbing grin he made last time.It made me uneasy a bit but i shrugged the thought.

I'm just being paranoid,i guess it's just me.
