Chapter 83

Chapter 83 Angel

Bumuntong hininga ako at humilata sa malambot na kama.Tumitig ako sa dim lights ng puting kisame bago sumulyap sa pintuan ng kwarto.

"Sleep in my room,i'll sleep in the guest room."

Lumabi ako at umupo muna sa kama.

I can't fall asleep at ayoko pang magpahinga o matulog.Jao insisted to let me sleep early and also,having me sleep here in his own room.

"Okay lang naman sa akin kung magkatabi tayo."Mahinang sabi ko sa sarili ko at biglang kumawag kawag sa kama.Naglilikot likot ako at gumulong gulong na parang ewan.

Tinakpan ko ang mukha dahil sa paginit ng mga pisngi ko.Kinagat ko ang ibabang parte ng labi ko at huminga ng malalim bago tumayo ng kama.

Napagdesisyunan kong uminom nalang ng mainit na gatas para makatulog na.

I walked out of his room walked through the walkway to the stairs.I held the glass railings and looked down in the dim living room.

Dumeretso ako ng kusina at nagtimpla ng gatas.I sat in the kitchen island at doon sumimsim ng mainit na gatas.Suddenly,i heard grunts across the kitchen.

I went out of the kitchen and saw an opened room.The light from that room illuminated in the dim living room.I walked towards it and inside was a private gym.

My eyes darted on Jao who was lifting a huge gym equiment.He then looked back at me and heaved before placing it down.

He was topless and he's just wearing his black trunks.He silently pants and grabbed his white towel hangging on his shoulder.

My grip quickly tightened on the mug i was holding.

He wiped his sweat all over his chest,shoulders,arms,neck and abdomen.His eyebrows furrowed while looking at me.

Lumakad siya papalapit sa akin at kumabog naman ang dibdib ko.Naiilang na ngumiti ako at pilit na ngumiti ng maayos bago siya lapitan.

"You're not sleeping."He stated and looked at my mug."You can't sleep??"He then asked me and i nodded.

Pinaupo naman niya ako sa mga couches ng gym room.I looked at him walked to the cabinets and grabbed some tank top.Sinulyapan niya ako at pasimpleng nagiwas naman ako ng tingin.

Nagsuot na siya ng damit at tumayo sa harap ko."Why??"He asked again.

Umayos ako ng upo."Uhmm..."Nagisip ako ng isasagot."H-hindi ako sanay sa kwarto mo."Dahilan ko at tumingin nalang sa gatas na iniinom.

"Hmmm??"He respond.

"This is your penthouse Jao so..."I pursed my lips and looked at him."T-the two of us can share your room."I stuttered and felt my cheeks heated.

The side of his lips slowly rose up."You want to share a bed??"He sked but his voice was too sexy at that time.Or maybe i'm exagerating things again,i don't know.

"Yes~"

I quickly covered my mouth when i answered in a faint and flirty tone.Gulat na tumingin ako sa kaniya na bahagyang napaamang sa ginawa ko.He then chuckled and shooked his head.

"Wait here."

Pagkatapos nun ay lumabas siya ng gym room.Napapikit ako ng mariin at marahang binatukan ang sarili ko.Bumubulong ako magisa at tahimik na sinermonan ang sarili ko.

I finished drinking my milk and stood up.I turned to Jao who offered his hand for me.I looked ay his hand and i accepted it.He gently smiled at me and i smiled sweetly.

Umakyat kami sa sa rooftop ng penthouse at bumungad sa akin ang isang out door bed.May sarili  itong bubong na gawa sa makapal na transparent glass.

It was a black round bed.Pumasok kaming dalawa dito at pinaupo muna niya ako sa kama.He litted up the two bonfires each side of the front walls.

Nauna siyang pumwesto sa kama at sumandal sa malambot nitong head board.He held my hand and placed me between his legs.

Sumandal ako sa likod niya at pumikit.He pulled the thick comforter and clasp me between his arms.I can feel his eerie breath on my head and nape.

We cuddled for minutes hanggang sa magusap kaming dalawa.We properly got the moment to catch up and talk about what's currently happening in our own lives.

Hanggang sa mapunta ang usapan namin sa nakaaran.We talked about the old times,the mansion,the pond and everything that has happened in that place.

Including the most unforgettable night i've ever had.

"I'm sorry."He suddenly apologized.

"I'm sorry for not speaking up for you that night."He heaved a sigh and slowly embrace me.Tahimik kong pinagmasdan ang malalaking palad niya na sakupin ang mga kamay ko.

Nagaalalang nilingon ko siya na tumingin naman pabalik sa akin.I've known him for not being expressive but this time....i can feel the frustration and sadness through his actions.

"Don't be sorry Jao because you shouldn't be."Sabi ko sa kaniya na tinignan ako sa mga mata."It's all in the past now."Dagdag ko.

He slowly nodded and held my right hand.Inilapit niya ang likod ng palad ko sa mukha niya at marahang hinalikan ito."Thank you."He looked at me as he showered my palms to his gentle kisses.

I silently gulped and blinked.

"What about Jahara??"Kalauna'y tanong niya."You forgive here??"Tanong pa niya.

I chuckled and nodded."I forgave her."I specifically answered and corrected him.

"Why??She did a terrible thing to to Ambrielle."I can the seriousness and a hint of anger through his voice.

"As i said earlier,it was all in the past."I answered and pouted a bit.

"For you to find and to feel a genuine happiness in life,you shouldn't hold grudges against the past and the people you were with it."I added and looked him in the eyes.I smiled and tilted my head."I think that's the wisest thing to do."

Tumitig siya sa akin ng ilang segundo bago ako yakapin ng mahigpit.Kagat kagat ang labing ngumiti ako at pinagmasdan ang magkahawak naming mga kamay.

He then rested his chin on my shoulder."Did someone already told you that you're like a living angel??"He asked.

Natawa naman ako sa tanong niya."Is that a joke or a compliment??"

"Both??"He unsurely answered.Tumawa naman ako at tumango tango sa kaniya.

"Then i'm an angel."I jokingly said and i felt him slowly leaned  forward.He pulled me close to him and kissed me in my cheek.

"My Angel."
