Aegon spread his wings, like no one had ever seen before, and with a hiss he breathed fired into the meat. It was a very small flame, but it still charred the meat, which the dragon leaped to eat. The people in the room were amazed, they didn't even acknowledge that Rhaella's hand was not burned from the fire, if seeing a hatching breath fire was such a wonder they couldn't imagined what was like to see a full grown dragon breathing fire, terrifying, but yet, they felt like they could die happy now, have seen such a wonder. Rhaella just smiled, proud of Aegon.

Time had gone by fast after the supper where the dragons had breathed fire for the first time, Ser Barristan and Jory were loading the boat with the carriers they used to carry the dragons, they had put it in Rhaella's cabin. Most people in the village near Ghost Hill knew who Rhaella was and had certainly heard about her dragons, but Lady Toland was right, the Dornish people despised the Lannisters and Baratheons, so no one ever told the King that Rhaella was there.

"You are ready Princess? It will be a hard trip," Ser Barristan asked Rhaella, who stood at the ship's deck staring at the horizon.

"Yes, I will feel better once we are away from the Seven Kingdoms," she told him, still staring at the sea.

"Is there something worrying you?" The old knight asked her.

"We don't know where Dany is, I'm afraid we are never going to find her," she said, finally turning to Ser Barristan, with a pained expression.

"She is your sister, you will find her, and she is also a Targaryen, they are very hard to miss," Ser Barristan joked and got a little smile out of his Princess.

"There is also Theon and Robb," at this time Rhaella turned and stared at the land they were about to leave. "They are in the middle of a war, I can't help but feel guilty, I just left them," she said with angst.

"You were in danger," Jory said, surprising both Rhaella and Ser Barristan, making them turn towards him. "They knew you needed to go. Robb is winning the war, and they are brothers, they would never let anything happen to each other," he completed. Rhaella nodded, but for some reason she had a strange feeling that she couldn't shake off.

At this time the three heard the captain scream, announcing that they were saying away. As the ship sailed away from the coast Rhaella couldn't help but feel uneasy, she was happy to go, but that was all she had ever known all her life.

"Do you regret leaving?" Jory asked her.

"I regret leaving before taking Stannis Baratheon out of Dragonstone," the girl said and laughed, making Jory laugh as well.

The first couple of days in the boat were strange, it took Rhaella a while to get used to it, and she was certain the dragons did not like it at all. But Rhaella had met a very strange woman in the boat. The woman's name was Zara, she was a Red Priestess for R'hllor, or the Lord of Light as some man said, she dressed all in red and even her hair was red, the woman was beautiful. Rhaella really enjoyed speaking to her, she told Rhaella she was from Asshai, and she would tell the Princess stories about the place, she would also tell the youngest Targaryen about prophecies that were made centuries ago, those intrigued Rhaella the most.

The Red Woman would tell Rhaella that her dragons were a gift from the Lord of Light, and that soon enough their fire would purify the nonbelievers. And, to Rhaella's happiness, the Red Woman told her one day that all the priests, priestess, and followers of the Lord of Light believed in the Targaryens, and believed Dany was the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. Zara had told Rhaella that she had seen in the flames that dragons would rule the world one day.

Rhaella did not believe in R'hllor, but it did put her mind at ease that people supported her and her sister, even if there weren't a great number of people that did. Zara's vision was a different story, Rhaella believed in the vision and that gave the princess hope. Another thing Rhaella liked about the Red Woman is that she never asked about her dragons, which is all people seem to do when they found out they were real, Zara respected the creatures and told the princess that R'hllor had told her that she didn't need to see them to know the creatures.

Ser Barristan was glad Rhaella found someone other than himself and Jory. Even if he didn't believe in the Lord of Light he knew talking to the Red Priestess wouldn't do Rhaella any harm, the Red Woman would tell the young princess stories about Asshai and her own adventures, and that made Rhaella less miserable during their trip.

Jory on the other hand hated the woman, and he hated that Rhaella spent more and more time with her, he would say that the Red Woman was poisoning the princess' mind with the stories about the Lord of Light. Ser Barristan ignored the boy when he went on rants about the woman, he thought that the young Bolton was simply jealous, the old man thought Jory was in love with Rhaella, which Jory always denied.

The truth is, Jory didn't know what he felt for the young princess, he had been tasked with protecting the girl, and during the past month or so she had been his closest friend, so it bothered him that when they were finally leaving Westeros she would spend all his time with someone else. And that scared him, he was tasked with taking Rhaella to her sister, but what would happen when he did, the young boy, almost a man, was afraid that once his task was complete Rhaella wouldn't need him anymore and would just leave him. He knew nothing of Essos, so he was useless there. And Jory was also confused about what would happen after he delivered Rhaella to her sister, was he supposed to go home? He wanted to, but at the same time he didn't, at the same time he wanted to stay in Essos, with the princess she swore to protect. Those thoughts were making Jory moody and miserable, and he couldn't wait to be out of this boat.

It had been weeks since they had been in that boat, Rhaella wasn't sure how many, but she did know she was ready to leave that boat. The princess sat on the deck now, speaking to the Red Woman while Ser Barristan sharpened his sword and Jory looked mad, sitting away from them.

"So you just look into the flames and have visions?" Rhaella asked Zara.

"Yes, but I only have visions when the Lord of Light allows me to," the priestess explained, making Jory roll his eyes. But before anyone could say anything the captain screamed from far away.

"Myr!" That made Rhaella jump, they were finally there.

Author's note:

Hello friends! I apologize for the shitty name I gave the Red Priestess, I'm just not very creative with names. Also I didn't want to spend a lot of time with them in the boat because, one I know nothing of boats, two I just didn't feel like there was a lot that could happen in that boat.

I hope you guys are enjoying!
