Soft kisses being peppered across your shoulder blade made you open your eyes. You groaned when you were met with the bright sunshine peeking through the curtains. That, along with the clattering of dishes and your parents talking downstairs, told you it was morning and time to get up.

"Rise and shine, my girl. Your parents are making breakfast. Let's go downstairs and have some."

"I don't think so," you said as you pulled your hand out of her grip. "I'm not leaving this bedroom until we leave to go back home. After what happened last night I don't think I can ever face my parents again."

Rosie chuckled and kissed your cheek before she spoke while brushing strands of hair behind your ear and gently through her fingers.

"I know it was a surprise to all three of us. But you have to leave the bed at some point. Maybe your dad forgot about it. Or he may not bring it up for all you know. Maybe he's just as surprised as you that he won't speak about it."

You thought about it for a minute, wondering if you should take the risk or not. But when your stomach growled loudly and Rosé pleaded for you to come with her by kissing your neck sweetly, you knew you didn't have much of a choice.

"Fine. Let's go brush our teeth first, though."

She nodded and followed you into the bathroom to brush your teeth together. A few minutes later and she was leading you down the stairs, tugging your hand in hers and ignoring your whines while your heart hammered in your chest just thinking about facing your dad.

The room was filled with a delicious aroma, making your mouth water. Your mom's eyes lit up when she saw you both, pouring you both a glass of your favorite drink before she hugged you both.

"Good to see you girls. How'd you sleep last night?"

Your dad was seated at the table, reading something in the newspaper on the table. You didn't know if there was genuinely something interesting he was reading about or if he unfolded it to read it to simply distract himself.

But when he heard your mom's question and realized you were both in the room, he lifted his head and sipped on his coffee.

"Good." You mumbled and took a few sips of your drink.

"Great! Why don't you both take a seat at the table?"

You awkwardly made your way to the seat across from your dad and Rosie sat beside you. Her hand fell onto your thigh innocently, simply trying to bring you some comfort by laying her hand there.

Your mom took a seat after passing out plates and you distracted your busy mind by stuffing your face with food.

When you looked up, you saw your dad staring at Rosie. Something was on his mind, some words on the tip of his tongue, and it made you nervous to even think about it.

"So, girls," he said as he placed his fork down on the plate. "We should talk about last night."

"Do we have to?" you whined and noticed your mom looking confused as she looked between the three of you.

"Yes." Your dad confirmed. "Look, I know you're both adults. I know you're in love. I know, for a fact, that you're the one for each other. I'm not upset and I don't want you girls to feel weird or nervous."

You felt Rosé squeeze your thigh reassuringly.

"Trust me, I think all three of us want to just forget about it right?"

You and Rosie nodded your heads quickly and your dad sipped on his coffee chuckling.

"Just... lock the door next time." He said before shaking his head. "You're my daughter and I'm happy that you're so in love, but maybe save that... expression of love for when you get home. Your own home."

"Understood," Rosie said before digging into her own plate of food.

"Hey," your dad said, laying his hand over yours so you'd look at him. "I'm sorry if I embarrassed you. You have my word. I won't bring it up again." You nodded, feeling relieved. "I'm just happy you're so happy, honey." He said and watched Rosie's eyes light up when they met yours, gleeful to see you both so in love and so happy; it was all that truly mattered to him.
