The sound of the front door opening made Rosie lift her head. Before you could even announce your arrival, she was running into the room to bring you in for a huge hug. You put your things down and kicked off your shoes before enveloping her in your embrace with a contentful hum.

"You had a great day, huh? Or did you just really miss me? Because I certainly missed you."

She lifted her head and sent you the same smile that's made you feel weak in the knees for the last two years. Not one thing has changed about that; you still feel butterflies in your chest when you see that beautiful smile and watch her eyes light up.

"Both!" She said and then took hold of your hand to lead you into the kitchen.

"Where are we going, baby?"

The pet name made her heart skip a beat. She loves the way it sounds falling from your lips. But soon, it wouldn't just be her you'd be talking about when you said 'baby'.

Somewhere between nervous and excited, she turned to you and said, "I got you something!"

Leading you to the table, she heard you gasp when you saw the roses on the table.

"Oh, Rosie. They're beautiful!"

"Wait!"

She stopped you as you reached for the flowers.

"There's a note attached. Read that first."

Her voice was shaking, just like her hand that held onto your wrist ever so gently before she carefully let it go. She sent you a smile, trying to disguise her nerves. But it was impossible to hide from you.

"Babe are you okay?" You asked worriedly.

"Never better! I found out some news today. Read the card and you'll see what it is!"

You reached for the note and started to read the words. At first, you expected something to do with her music, thinking it had to do with blackpink like getting nominated for a major award or something of that sort.

But your heart nearly stopped when you read what was actually written...

"Some roses to show you just how much I love and appreciate you. I already know that our baby will love you just as much as I do when they meet you in only seven months!"

You looked back at Rosé and this time, she held a pregnancy test in her hand. The two lines on it were unmistakable. You gasped in awe as tears blurred your vision.

"You're really..."

"Pregnant! Yeah, I am!"

You dropped the note onto the table and carefully pulled her into your arms. You sniffled as a tear fell from her eye and onto your skin. You knew they were tears of joy; there was no mistaking that.

"I can't believe it! This is absolutely amazing! Oh, I love you so much, both of you!"

She pulled away and planted a sweet kiss on your lips. Cupping your cheek as you placed your hand over her still flat-stomach, making her chuckle.

"You're going to be the most amazing mother. I just know it already."

There wasn't a doubt in your mind. She's already so good with kids. She's an incredible person; so kind, so loving, so good-hearted, and genuine. Thinking about her with your own baby was too much for your heart to handle. You could already see it.

"So will you, my love." She whispered, blinking her tears away before kissing you passionately.

"I love you both so much. You've made me the happiest girl in the world for the last two years, but even more so now. I swear that you're already glowing." You spoke then laid a kiss on her forehead.

"We love you too." She said and dropped her cheek onto your shoulder before closing her eyes to envision what the future would look like with your beautiful little family.
