The sound of your phone ringing made you look away from your book for the first time in the last thirty minutes. You noticed quickly that it was Rosé and you cracked a smile just thinking about her. Excitedly, you threw your book aside and quickly answered her call.

"Hey! How's everything going?" You asked, the happiness evident in your voice. But that all faded when you heard a sniffle come from her. "Rosé? Are you alright?"

"Not really. I'm sorry to bother you but,"

"Honey, no. You never bother me, you know that." You interrupted. "What's wrong?"

"Just not having the best day. I miss you a lot. It might sound silly but being away from you after being by your side for two straight weeks isn't exactly easy." She chuckled tearfully. "And I'm just under a lot of pressure right now and I don't feel like I'm doing a good job and I just really need you..."

You were already scooting off the sofa when those words fell from her lips. You were about to speak, telling her that you could be there in the blink of an eye. But when she started to speak again, it was with a long and sad sigh that she said, "I have to go. I have to get back to recording. I love you. Do you mind if I call you back in a couple of hours?"

Trying to pretend that you weren't slipping on your shoes and grabbing your keys from the dish by the door, you just agreed. "Of course. You know I'm always here to talk when you need me. I'll see you soon."

She whispered out a quick goodbye before she hung up. You let out a sad sigh. Just thinking about her having a bad day was enough to break your heart. You know she works hard and she always gives her all, so to hear her say that she doesn't feel like she's doing a good job deeply saddened you.

You didn't waste a single second in rushing out the door and out to the car with your phone in your hand and keys wrapped around your finger. You started the car and went to head off to the studio, but another idea quickly popped into your brain before you went there.

Stopping off at a cute little bakery nearby, you picked her out something special and sweet, before you continued off to the studio. It took you a good twenty minutes before you arrived, but you burst through the door excitedly. You greeted the people inside who recognized you since Rosé has brought you around before, before you reached the studio door and knocked softly.

It opened only a crack at first but when Jennie peeked out you saw her eyes light up before she opened the door the rest of the way to allow you inside.

"Come in, come in!" She spoke excitedly and hugged you tightly once inside. "Rosé didn't mention you stopping by."

"Yeah, it wasn't exactly planned. But she called me and told me she wasn't exactly having a great day and,"

"She missed you?" Jisoo interrupted from behind you. "Yeah, we can see that for sure. She's been a little down but also, she's been talking about you whenever she can. Understandable since you just spent the last two weeks together without being apart from each other for more than a minute." She teased playfully with a big smile.

"She's gonna be thrilled that you're here," Lisa said then nodded toward the booth where Rosé was. You noticed that she was sat on the floor with her hands on her cheeks, focused as she read the lyrics on the papers all over the floor in front of her. She looked sad. Her eyes didn't seem to sparkle the way that they usually do, especially when it comes to doing anything with music.

You watched Jisoo tap on the window to get her attention and when she looked up to see you waving at her, her mood changed instantly.

She pushed everything aside and ran out of the booth faster than you've ever seen before. She threw her arms around you and buried her face in your neck while clinging onto you tighter than ever.

"What are you doing here?" She mumbled against your neck, refusing to lift her head from the comfort it provided.

"You said that you missed me, so here I am!" You said gleefully, basking in the utter happiness her giggle in return brought you. "Plus, you said your day wasn't going well and I'm here to change that. I got you something sweet... literally."

She giggled when she opened the tiny pastry box to see a cupcake with a smiley face on it.

"I know it's not much but I hope it makes you feel better."

She placed it aside and pushed her lips onto yours for a soft kiss.

"The only thing sweeter than that treat is you, my love." She smiled. "I can't believe you came here just because I wasn't having a good day..."

"That and," You paused, circling your arms around her neck before leaning in close to her lips again. "I missed you too. You're my girl, the light and love of my life, and I can't handle you being sad. I want you to be happy always; because you deserve it."

"Well, I'm much happier now."

She barely brushed her lips against yours before coos from the other girls made her pull away.

While she didn't mind all that much and the smile on her face and the leap of her heart proved that, she still nodded to the booth and said, "Don't you have parts to record? I'm taking a break, you all go now."

The girls laughed and you dropped your cheek to her shoulder. She sat on one of the chairs and pulled you onto her lap, allowing you to lay your head on her shoulder and for her to continue to hold you close.

"You make me the happiest girl in the world." She spoke softly, brushing her fingers along your shoulder. "I'm in love with you. Thank you for making me feel so much better."

You kissed her neck softly, breathing in the smell of her perfume that lingered on her skin and closed your eyes as you both relished in the comfort and happiness you bring each other.

"Anything for you, my love; always."
