you hog the blankets

Rosé was sure she'd sleep deeper tonight than she has the last few. Not just because she was tired after a long day, but also because you're sleeping right beside her and she loves the thought of being able to curl up to you at any time of the night that she wants.

She felt warm under the blanket and your hand in hers. Although she was feeling a little restless for a bit, she's starting to feel better now. Her eyes were closed but there was no mistaking the tiny smile on her lips as she listened to your soft and steady breaths falling from your lips beside her.

Her eyelashes fluttered against her cheeks. She was slowly drifting off to sleep and she was relieved to finally get there after such a busy day.

But just as she was about to fall asleep, she felt the warm and fluffy blanket that she was wrapped up in getting pulled right off of her. She opened her eyes quickly and frowned at the sudden chill coming over her. She reached for the blanket, planning to drape it right back over herself and get to sleep once again.

But right when she reached for it, you wrapped yourself even tighter in it and rolled onto your stomach to make sure it was securely wrapped around you, even as you slept.

She whined a little and tried to tug it out from underneath you, but you stirred in your sleep and let out a few soft sounds and pulled it over your shoulders.

She let out a long sigh and laid her head back against the pillow. She tried to curl up to you, thinking that your warmth would be enough to keep her warm. But there was another chill running down her shoulder blades and she was starting to feel the sleepy feeling fading away and she knew she had to get under the covers and get to sleep.

"Y/N," she whispered and tapped your shoulder. You stirred and rubbed your eyes but went right back to sleep. "Baby, c'mon. You're hogging the blankets." She whispered and ran her fingers along the part of your shoulder that wasn't covered with the blanket. "Wake up."

Feeling her shake your shoulder, you awoke. You opened your eyes but closed them again as soon as you were met with the darkness.

"Rosé? What's wrong?"

"You're hogging the blankets, honey." She said with a chuckle only to hear you sigh and lay your head back on the pillow. "Y/N, I love you very much, but if you don't give me part of the blanket I'm gonna have no other choice but to tickle you." She warned.

Your eyes flew open and you quickly draped part of it over her.

"Is that better?" You asked as you rolled onto your other side so you could face her.

She sent you a sleepy smile and caressed your cheek softly. "Yeah. Thanks, baby." She whispered and felt her heart flutter when you leaned into her touch. "I'll never really be able to describe how much I love you."

"Love you too, Rosé. Will you hold me?"

"Of course." She said and pulled you into her arms. With part of your neck exposed, she was able to lay soft little kisses along your soft, warm skin.

She breathed out a contented sigh and closed her eyes. "Go back to sleep now, and have sweet dreams." She whispered and quickly drifted off to sleep, feeling much warmer now that she had part of the blanket again and you were wrapped securely in her arms.
