You couldn't help but bounce your knee nervously as you closed the menu on the table in front of you. It's not that you've decided on what you've wanted already, but rather the fact that your mind is going a little faster than usual since you're waiting for the girls to arrive.

You've been with Rosie for a few weeks now and she figured it was about time to introduce you to the girls. It's important since she's around them almost every day and when she isn't, she's either talking about them or to them. It's really sweet, the close bond they share.

You know you shouldn't be nervous, but you can't really help but feel it, knowing how important the girls are to her.

"Hey," she frowned, laying her hand on your knee to make it stop bouncing. "You okay?"

"Yeah." You nodded, sending her your most convincing smile. But she didn't buy it.

"No need to be worried. They're gonna love you."

You would've responded if you had known what to say and it wasn't for the girls making their way to the two of you. Rosé excitedly jumped up and hugged them. You couldn't help the smile tugging at your lips, they were so close it was so heartwarming to see.

"Girls, this is my girlfriend y/n."

You slid out of the booth and before you could even mutter a hello, you were brought into a hug from Jisoo. You happily hugged her back and gave Lisa and Jennie a hug too before sitting back down. Rose climbed in beside you while the girls all sat across from you.

"It's so nice to finally meet you! Feel like I already know you considering Rosie constantly talks about you." Jennie spoke and in response, your girlfriend ducked her head as her cheeks heated up.

"You're the topic of almost every conversation." Jisoo smiled, making your mind rest.

The waitress appeared, greeting you all before asking what everyone wanted.

The girls, having dined at that particular restaurant a handful of times before, knew what they wanted right off the bat.

You were undecided, a little too nervous to order on your own for more reasons than one. But you tried to swallow the lump in your throat and reach for Rosé to help you out, but she was getting ready to slide out of the booth, saying she needed to use the bathroom and your heart began to hammer against your chest.

"I'll be back in a second,"

"No!" You said, holding onto the sleeve of her shirt. She frowned, eyes filled with worry and gaze intense as she stared over at you. You wanted to crawl out of your skin. You knew the girls were staring at you too.

"Y/n what is it?"

You stammered, the words right on the tip of your tongue but wouldn't fall.

"Could you give us a minute?" Jennie asked the waitress and if it weren't for your racing mind and the feeling of being too afraid to speak, you would've thanked her.

"Y/n?" Rosé spoke your name so softly as she laid her hand on your arm.

"I'm sorry, I'm just a little scared."

"Of what, babe?"

You let out a shaky breath and lifted your head to look at her.

"Being left alone with people I don't know and ordering by myself." You confessed, sinking your teeth into your lip and fidgeting with your fingers.

"Why didn't you tell me, my love?"

You simply shrugged your shoulders. Staring at your lap, you didn't see the sad glance the girls were exchanging with Rosé.

"What do you feel like having? Tell me and I'll order it for you." Rosé said as she took your hand into her own and brushed her thumb along your knuckles.

"Really?"

"Absolutely. Don't be afraid to tell me these things. I'll help you with whatever you need me to, always. I promise you and I'm not the type to break my promises."

You laid your head on her shoulder, smiling a little as she kissed your forehead lovingly.

"And, y/n," Jisoo said from across the table, taking you by surprise. You had gotten so caught up in your conversation with Rosie, had felt so comfortable with her, that you almost forgot they were there.

"If you ever need help ordering on your own and Rosé isn't around, we're happy to help you out."

"And I understand not wanting to be left alone by people you're unfamiliar with, but I promise you that we're not gonna judge you for that, or anything, ever. You're important to our Rosie, you're important to us, too." Jennie said and reached across the table to give your hand a friendly and comforting squeeze.

"You're always safe with us, y/n. Promise you that." Lisa said.

"And," Rosé said, lips by your ear as she kissed your head. "You're always safe with me. No judgement. You can always talk to me and tell me anything. I promise I'll always listen."

You nodded and put your head back on her shoulder.

"Now, what are we thinking about having to eat? Whatever it is that you want, you let me know and I'll order it for you, baby." She said as the waitress came back around and held you close as she ordered what you pointed to on the menu.

Watching her walk away and looking to find the girls in their own conversation, you gently took Rosie's chin in your palm and gazed up at her with an adoring gaze.

"Thank you," you said, closing your eyes as her lips hit yours.

"Anytime, my love."
