you come home to find her asleep

"Rosé? I'm home!" You called out as you walked through the door and kicked off your shoes. You thought you'd hear her feet on the stairs when she heard your voice but the house stayed quiet. You didn't hear her sweet voice or the sound of her feet rushing down the stairs. All you heard was silence.

You frowned a little because after the day you'd had you were hoping to enveloped by her arms.

You checked all the rooms downstairs, only to find them all empty. It was unusual, especially since it wasn't that late. Rosé is usually lying on the sofa with a good movie on or in the kitchen looking for or already making food around this time.

"Rosé?" You yelled out as you made your way up the stairs. You knew she had to be home. She didn't have much to get done today with the girls, so she was supposed to be home early. You tried to ignore the worried thoughts starting to run through your mind as you called out for her again but only got silence in return once more.

The bedroom door was open just a crack so you pushed it open the rest of the way. Stepping inside, you noticed that the tv was on with some random show playing in the background, and on the bed lied your girlfriend; sound asleep.

But to make the sight even sweeter you noticed that she wasn't sleeping on her side of the bed, but rather yours, and she was curled up in one of your hoodies with one of her legs under the covers and one thrown over it.

You cooed at the sight. Your mind cleared and your pulse started to quicken as your heart thudded against your chest quickly. You tiptoed to where she slept and knelt on the floor in front of her.  A few strands of her long locks covered her eyes so you carefully tucked them behind her ear.

"You look so precious." You whispered softly and heard her let out a few soft sounds as she stirred and moved her cheek against your pillowcase before letting out a soft sigh and drifting back into a deep sleep.

You couldn't help yourself but to lean in and lay a kiss to her temple. She slowly opened her eyes when she felt the soft brush of your lips against her skin. "Hey, sleepyhead. Are you okay?"

"I'm alright. Just tired." She mumbled. "Had a busy day. Wore me out."

You nodded your head understandingly and watched her eyelashes flutter against her cheeks as her heavy eyes slipped shut again. But she opened them when you started to caress her cheek lovingly.

"I didn't mean to wake you. I have to get change then I'll join you. Okay?"

She nodded slowly.

"Okay. Close your eyes if you want to. It's alright." You assured and watched them close again. You laid a little kiss to her head before heading into the bathroom to change into a cozy pair of pajamas and brush your teeth.

You turned the light off before you opened the door, so it wouldn't make her uncomfortable. You closed the door behind you and tiptoed to bed, only to see that she was still asleep on your side of the bed.

You climbed into her side of the bed and she rolled over into your arms right away.

"I missed you so much." You whispered as she laid her cheek on your shoulder.

She opened her eyes slowly and cracked a tired smile. She tapped her lips and you crashed your lips onto hers right away. She sighed against your lips and placed her hand on your smooth cheek before pulling away a moment later.

"I missed you, Y/N. I'm happy you're home. I'm sorry I'm so sleepy. I want to spend time with you."

You couldn't help but the chuckle that fell from your lips. She was so tired that the last few words barely even fell from her lips. You just shook your head with a smile, although she didn't see it.

"It's okay, baby. Tomorrow is a new day. Get some sleep. I love you lots."

You reached over to turn the light off before letting your head fall against hers.

"Y/N?"

You hummed softly in response, too tired to really say another word.

"I love you more."
