"Oh, hey, sweet girl." Rosé smiled as she walked through the door, finding you on the sofa waiting for her.

It was an early evening. She finished with her busy day much sooner than expected and it meant that she got to come home early.

It was a relief for the both of you. For her, because she was tired and drained from practice, and a relief for you since the gift you ordered her had finally arrived.

"Hey, baby!" You smiled back and patted the cushion for her to come sit beside you. "Did you have a good day?"

"Yeah, it was great." She said and kissed your cheek sweetly as she took a seat beside you.

"Good. I got something for you."

She frowned as you reached for the pink envelope on the table.

"What's this for? Did I forget something?" She asked as her eyes went wide, only for you to shake your head with a giggle that melted her heart.

"No! I just felt like doing something nice for you. It's a just because gift." You said and watched her nod her head before she started to tear the envelope open.

You've had this all planned out. You've been so excited to share the news you've been keeping to yourself for the last couple of days until this card arrived.

You're still excited now. As your heart began to hammer against your chest and your hands shook as you reached behind the cushion just to check again that the rest was there. You watched her closely, watching her smile as she read the outside of the card.

"You're not just an amazing wife." She read out loud and opened up the card. "You're also gonna be an amazing mom..."

She looked up at you, breath hitching and heart starting to pound, before she looked back at the card and finished,

"I'm pregnant..."

You pulled out the test and she gasped when she looked from the card and back at you.

"You're serious?!"

You nodded excitedly and she put the card to the side to pull you into her arms.

"Oh my gosh," she mumbled into your hair as it all sank in. "You're pregnant. That's so amazing!"

"I was so hoping it would get here today. I've known for a couple of days and it's been torture keeping it from you but I wanted to make it special for you."

"Oh, baby," she cooed and pulled away, staring at you with her pretty, teary eyes. "This is just so wonderful. We're really gonna be parents. We're finally starting our family!"

"I know! I'm so happy!" You said as you crawled onto her lap as she held you and hugged you tight. She buried her face in your neck and kissed along your skin lovingly.

"There's no one else in the world I'd rather go on this journey with. I love you, y/n, I'm so in love with you. You make me the happiest person in the world."

"Love you," you whispered and pulled her in for a kiss. "You're gonna be a great mom."

"You too," she whispered softly as she rubbed your back and let you lay your cheek on your shoulder as you basked in the happiness and pure joy of the moment.
