she comes home with bruises (requested)

The sound of the door opening and closing made you turn your head. Seeing Rosé taking her shoes off sent a rush of happiness over you. You've been waiting for her to get home!

"Rosie!" You jumped up and hugged her, squeezing her tightly in your arms. Usually, she'd laugh and hold you just as tight in securely in her embrace. But instead, she winced and whispered.

"What happened? Did I hurt you? Are you okay?"

"You're fine, baby. It's okay." She assured, placing her hands on your shoulders. "Just got hurt in practice today, that's all."

"Wait, what?"

Seeing that she winced when you squeezed her, the first place you thought to check was her ribs. Lifting her shirt a bit you saw that her ribs were indeed bruised.

"I stumbled a bit. Scraped my leg too, but it's okay."

"Okay? Are you crazy?" You asked and gently tugged at her hand to lead her into the kitchen. "Sit in the chair, don't lift a finger!"

She laughed as she sat down. "Baby girl, it's just a few cuts and bruises! It's not like I broke anything."

"So? You're still hurt."

You grabbed a couple of cloths. One to wet down with a little water, just enough to wipe her leg that had a little blood on it and the other to wrap some ice in.

"Hold this against your ribs, baby."

She did so and though you were too busy taking care of her to see, she was gazing down at you with a loving look. Even though it wasn't that bad, it still warmed her heart how much you cared.

"Thank you, baby girl."

"You'd do the same for me if I was the injured one." You said and dropped the cloth on the floor once her leg was clean and then gazed up at her. "I love you. Sorry you're hurt."

"I'm feeling better already." She assured, but then stopped when an idea came to her mind. "You did miss one spot though."

"Where?"

"My lips. I think you should kiss me to make me feel better."

You shook your head with a laugh and said, "you're silly, Rosie," before moving in to kiss her lips lovingly, happy to know she was already feeling better.
