you're cold

When you first awoke this morning to the sound of the rain pouring down you were a little bummed about your plans with Rosé being rained out. But now, as you sit beside her, all you can feel is utter happiness.

Beside you, she was in a fit of giggles as the movie played. Truthfully, you weren't all that into it; but you sure did love that it was making her so happy.

Your warm drink had turned cold and since Rosé looked so cold under the blanket, you didn't want to take it from her. You started to get up, only for her to catch your wrist gently in her hand.

"Where are you going?" She asked as a frown started to appear on her face, one that only became more evident when you began to shiver.

"You're cold? Oh, honey. Come here."

She lifted the blanket for you to climb under with her.

"I don't want you to get cold."

"Don't be silly!" She scoffed and pulled you back beside her. She wrapped you in her arms and made sure you had most of the blanket. While you were warmer than before, you still felt a little chilly.

"You're still a little cold? Don't worry! I have the perfect thing to warm you up. Stay right here." She mumbled and, with a soft kiss to your forehead, she left the room for a moment, returning later with something special for you.

"This is my favorite sweater. It always keeps me warm. It'll do the same for you."

The smile she sent you, with those beautiful brown eyes that seemed to sparkle from the excitement she felt, you couldn't even try to say no.

"It's so cozy! Thank you for lending it to me."

She chuckled and brushed her fingers through your messy hair. "You look even more adorable in my clothes than I imagined you would." She whispered softly. "You're so beautiful."

She planted a lingering kiss to your forehead and then sat back down beside you, but this time she put her arm around you and pulled you closer and closer until there was no space left between you. She threw the blanket over both your laps and even let her lips brush along your cheek and your neck.

You felt warmer than before and happier than ever.

"Let's cuddle forever." You mumbled, to which she giggled softly, right in your ear, making your heart soar.

"Sounds perfect to me."
